Right now Dragoons still have blink. But since they were so weak generally, I made them little stronger. ca 5% faster attack speed and +2 range from the upgrade. (Before it was just +1)

So they have 7 range.. hydras and marines have 5.. and so far they destroy everything T_T


Yesterday they were really weak and by only changing such a small thing as the range upgrade have made them probably too good

Not true We just played too few games and have I won easly vs mass goons with tank/rine. Let people learn to play against them. Their dps is still quite weak. SCVs can "outrepair" them. Hydras rape them i belive but had no time to test yet, and in pvp they should be core anyway.

well in bw is no autorepair so maybe the repair should be nerfed

Actually autorepair is weaker already in sc2 i think. And you still can snipe scvs. Also Shield repairs faster in sc2 (off battle).

You gonna ever "come back" TaShadan? I would like to hear how you feel about them right now.

My opinion about Dragoon:

Buff him bit more (+20shields, maybe tiny dmg buff vs armored), remove blink.
Add stalker with "clifwalk" like reaper, just animation of blink (no vision neccesary), blink, very good speed (like 3-3,25) decent dps vs light units and maybe psionic. Weak vs armored. 6range, 80/60 1armor something like 10dmg/15vslight/1.44cd.Avalible after getting TC, with researchable blink. We are in beta, you can try, maybe people will use him.
Add him for test :D For few versions, and we will see if he can fit in.

Base raiding is going to be way too powerful against Terran. No please. TT

i meant if you build only goons you will lose vs marines/tanks if your micro is bad
you can win if you micro good and use high ground positions to take less damage

Well, goons revarded good micro. But it was not easy to micro them vs tank/rine. Tanks outranged goons, didnt tthey? Just wanted to say in direct combat they are not so insane, only decent. They start to shine when you can micro them well. I think we should try to achive same here.

Early game, you care about them. There are few of them, and each of them counts. If you are controling them well, they will pay off, really. And they need solid stats enough to be good core of bigger army as well. Explosive damage was perfect for that in bw ^^.

in siege mode tanks outrange them yes but you have to hit and run the opponent force
everytime terran tries to advance you have to hit them and when he sieges you have to retreat a bit

No, i mean unsieged. In BW ranged goons are outranged by unsieged tanks as well. And during retreat you are getting hit by tanks (and that hurts =>30explosive damage) while you deal 10damage to rines.

That was my point. If terra controls that compo well, you really cant be effective just with goons.

Do Protoss realize that they have a really nice unit called the Zealot and High Templar. I heard that the High Templar has an ability called Psi Storm where you can destroy tanks.

I was talking about the damage taken by storms. It doesn't have to be like in BW, tanks should be strong against storm, but perhaps not as strong as in sc2.

BW storm: Range 9, 112dmg, huge AOE
BW tanks: Range 12, 150hps,

starbow storm: Range 7-8(?), 72dmg, smaller AOE
starbow tanks: Range 13(15 with 2 ups), 160hps
