bo7kingofthehill: the tournament is played on 12 player maps with points awarded for "surviving more" than on "actually winning each match". Winning player gets 12 points for winning, first to die gets 0 (all in between get "x") add points and see who is the best at: - surviving in 12 player maps - making allies during these first "rounds" - impressing people edit/ps: seems like the best rts players would be "showcased as such" in such a format.. no?

Thank you for your "confirmation". With no one talking about it I was quite sure, however so as not to seem to be talking alone (ranting drapped only in ketcheup in the woods in the night) about the whale in the room: lotv editor, like a madman, I needed someone to enable me ![]() So, ..will actiblizz give us the lotv editor? Poll: lotv editor they will give it straight on retail (3) they will give it 3/6 months later (0) they will be late for mac users (0) they will not give it to mac users (0) they will never give it for free, that is the past (0) 3 total votes Your vote: lotv editor (Vote): they will give it straight on retail Edit: I am of course not privy to their "overall strategy", but I would like to remind you all that they have no interest in us. Yeah, that is seeing the worst, "it will never happen" is what you are thinking. Sorry for depressing thought. glhf

Cheat cheat: somewhere in this very thread lies the answer to this question, several times if memory disperses me well. disclaimer: as soon as I get the link and put it here => 13 second search yielded: this this is flopturnreaver hype! do send him a pm! don't ever ever post in his Holiness 'es of thread no no aaaaaaaaa!

By default you have 1 player in the player settings. You add a second player with the same "random start location" "user select race" etc (you do not change "player 0" stats). Then you read the guide in the link. Then you make all the spawns possible and not the ones you don't want. ![]()

You'll need to give your structures a Build in Progress ability that has the field Stats: Maximum Builders increased to whatever. Might only work with Build abilities that have the Maintain Worker flag checked, such as SCV- Build.

Since you can access the mpq files you can pretty much do what you want with a map (that does not makes it keep its melee tag though), you go in the mpq file and change what is the "ladder countdown" sound to a sound you have imported in the map: applicable other countdown. Might be an option by now, you might just want to add "pro" modded map's asset(s) (a mod) to your own so as to get it without breaking a sweat. glhf On August 30 2015 05:09 TheFish7 wrote: This is doable in the editor. You might, if you embark in such a venture, do it with the original ability and test the s#it out of it on a map (look through all the fields if you can do it directly, re read TheFish7's post and look for all fields related ![]() ![]()
