I double click on "Unit Name" and it brings up a screen, but doesn't let me edit. I add a new token, but that doesn't work.

is there a way to either allow units in a vehicle to attack while moving without allowing them to attack while moving outside of the vehicle, or atleast prevent a vehicle from moving when it is attacked? (I modified a crazy horse to allow units to be loaded in like a bunker. it can shoot out, but only when stationary.)

It says to place a folder named Crimson Moon in the maps folder... I don't have a maps folder under my sc2 folder. In fact I have no maps folder on my entire computer (I just searched to check placement). Where is it supposed to be? And why isn't it there?

go to your starcraft folder in my documents, simply create a map file named "maps" yourself and you should be fine.

I've just done this, and when I open double click the map launcher it opens up the starcraft 2 editor.

if you press ctrl f9 it launches the map file with editor settings.

I've just tried that. It did open a the game. It load something that said "just another starcraft map". When it was done loading, it ended in a tie right away, and sent me to the login screen thing.

Why is it that when I want to test my melee map, a random custom game extension attaches itself to it? How do I take it off so I can play my map normally? I can't figure it out
Starcraft 2 is like love, you can lose every engagement but you only need to win once to finish the game.

Do you have 2 player starting locations and the map properties set? I have been publishing my maps as Private and then hosting them under custom game settings, to test the melee vs the Ai.

I have had the same issue. Been working on creating an extension mod, now whenever I make a melee map, the extension mod is applied to that melee map when testing.


Question on Data - Could someone load up the Swarm Melee mod and take a look at the abilities for the Oracle (and for the Swarm host) and tell me what they see? Does the Oracle in it's current form exist in the Melee data or is does it always show up with the abilities it had in the Beta? I want to take a look at the pulsar beam ability but I can't find it anywhere.

That's exactly what is supposed to happen. You just click resume game and test it from there. You probably set 2 starting positions but the editor doesn't auto-fill in an AI as an opponent (also doesn't help that in player properties the other player is set as User)

helpp, i accidently deleted a sc2 map via recycle bin. ive been using numerous recovery programs for deleted recycle bin items, but i can't find the sc2 map. there is one map file that seems corrupted, its name became like afd$2kd.sc2map in the program recovery list. but i can't open it anyways, editor says its corrupt. what do i do? anyone know a better program?

the editor makes backups every once in a while, try the backup folder and maybe you're lucky.
also, if you have it uploaded, you can open it from servers and save it.

I'm trying to make a custom GH mod with logos, but I'm stuck in the login to battle.net part, when I log in, it hangs retrieving the list, like it retrieves a little but then the program just stop responding

I've tried deleting the editor registry keys to make go back to it defaults but still the same issue. Any fix for this?

i was just wondering after watching the redbull bgs, king sejong is such a great map. i tried to find its thread here on teamliq, but there seems to be none. How did king sejong get into the ladder without public display/mapping tourney? Just curious.
