I don't like the HOTS move command animation (the arrow when you right click), and I noticed that in replays and some custom maps (IE marine split challenge), there is still the WoL one. I was wondering if there is a way to use the WoL animation instead of the HOTS one? I guess you can't as they forbid modding and such, but doesn't hurt to ask even if it's a very minor issue. | ||

I would think this is a parameter possible to modify, thing is .. hots came after wol (lol stating the obvious) and therefore it is not "prudent" to go "back" .. and of course it might give you the "non melee" treatment Search the "ui" (as opposed to data or units..) in galaxy ... if you have a map (maps..) you would like to apply this change to .. I think this would make it an arcade map however (?) | ||

What am I doing wrong? I want to be able to have 3 levels of bases (1-3), 1 extra high (unusable) cliff level (4) and a water (lowest unusable) level (0). | ||

Then just smooth the top out. If you want to create cliff edges, cover them up with doodads and then use pathing to make the area unwalkable. If you want to make the doodads to appear like they're the ground, then hide the terrain underneath the doodads, cover the black floor up with water, and use pathing to select the unwalkable parts. This is how "bridges" are made. | ||

I have found nothing wrong with the map at the place where the icon is placed. I have tried re-flatting and redoing the area hights, but no change. How do I fix this? but nothing seems wrong (icon removed when out of fog)... and when the unit moves away, the icon is back on the minimap... EDIT: I had accidentally created a unit group. This unit group has an icon that defaults to what is shown on the map. Remove the unit group using the Map/Object Groups dialog. | ||
