Well, it's not really a new map, because it's lost temple, with some modification.
After all the game played on this map, the grass don"t even grow, the nice water and forest are now a toxic radioactive wasteland.
The cliff over the natural is mess up with destructible debris from thousand of drop. The Islands expand are no more island, massive earthquake and nuclear launch ^^

So you can take the gold, then take the island expansion and only need to defend from the gold choke. Seems kinda funky, kinda need to play it see how it plays out.

I don't think this statement is accurate. Right now you don't need to defend ANY choke, now you need to defend 1 choke. This is harder to defend since 1 > 0.

I like the changes. I don't see a problem with opening up the islands alittle, and the destructables on the hg seems refreshing.

I would not want to spawn cross positions against zerg on this map. 4 Bases that are relatively easy to defend = O_O.
I really like the destructible rocks on cliffs that make the natural much easier to defend against Terran harass. I would love to play a couple of games on this map. GJ.

Now its just, defend at gold's choke AND defend at high ground.

Something makes me think the author of this map doesn't play Terran. Anti-drop and anti CC float to island.

Very nice. LT was indeed overplayed... but still, a legendary map, teehee. I look forward to seeing games being played on this!

- Los blocker are still at the same place as LT, just not really visible on the screenshoot.
- no DL link for now, cause i wanna listen to the first critique before posting it. (and make some change if needed)
- the debris on the cliff over the natural dont block completly drop on the cliff, you can still do it, but it will be less effective if you dont take the time to destroy the debris. you can still drop here without destroying the debris, but you have only little room to place your thor / tank / what you want to drop ^^

What would be really nice is if it was possible to get some doodads that are basically dead units.

Everyone remembers the satisfying death animation to SC1 Dragoon, how it exploded into a puddle of blue goo. Well I don't know if it's possible but putting doodads of a dead dragoon close to water would explain it's radioactivity and color.
Dead tanks, Crashed Carriers and BCs. You could even make a bridge linking the island with a destroyed CC.
I am not aware of what doodad is available and what is possible, I am just speculating ideas. But it would be really nice to have trace of the battles that happened on the map.

theire is some doodoads available, like BC, bunker, protoss ship etc.. and it's really simple to create news doodoads using SC2 dead unit models. If i'm not working on another melee map or UMS i will add some to this map. but i like the "devasted look" of the actual map, i will try to add just a few to keep this look.

Not a bad idea, but you now, it almost the same map with diferent tileset. I would rather preffer a new map than this. Anyway, keep working on it and make it different someway from the original and would be fine

@Piochelin ; yes, but no. i make a lot of other map (see my other post) the goal here was not to make a new map. this is lost temple, with some little change and a news tileset. i dont want to make this map different. i want it to be lost temple.

I'd be happy if you got rid of the rocks above the nats. other than that i love the map. It dosent feel very lost temple without highground natural harass =D.

again, the rock dont make the cliff "undropable" just less effective.
from general comment, lost temple seams to be the most balanced map in the actual pool. some say terran favored because of the cliff drop over the nat. making cliff drop less effective seams to me as a good way to make it more "balanced". or should i say less terran favored ? removing the island follow the same thought.

This is actually a really cool map, shows a different perspective of Lost Temple.
1 Suggestion leave the island expansions, the double rocks don't look good from my perspective.

Just played a few games vs Green Tea on this map, great change to LT.
I agree with the change to the island expansions, it was noted that they weren't being used much at the top level anyway, this change makes proxy positions a lot more interesting.
The bridge only makes it slightly easily to defend because you can position units to counter drops/nydus. I don't agree with this one more choke/one less choke crap.

Maybe you could add some island expansions to the unused corners due to the water's evaporation from the heat caused by the nuclear explosions. But then you'd have... + Show Spoiler +
Map looks great, I love the rocks at the cliffs over the naturals. Can't wait to play it once the beta comes back up.
