You readily admit that the map statistically favors Terran by a mile. This was an anomaly, Horror clearly wasn't playing his best. what exactly is anomalous about invisible units and the ability to simply counter attack or recall if terran tries to do.. anything

Progaming statistics over many thousands of games and hundreds of players which seem to suggest that the three races are balanced (or that Terran, in fact, has usually dominated) hold no relevence at all. Clearly we are seeing a consipracy of epic proportions in which all the most skilled gamers to ever play competive Starcraft have chosen Terran because they enjoy self-handicapping or are perhaps part of some kind of cult. Don't worry, your failures aren't your fault in any way.

Maybe i'm dumb, but i really don't understand why thats a T favored map.

Don't worry, your failures aren't your fault in any way. Not all maps are depicted correctly. Not defending or arguing with everyone here, but for instance Andromeda shows in the korean scene that T >> Z on that map, meanwhile Z >> T in the foreign community, we as foreigners do not know how to play the game compared to the koreans, and therefore there are certain flaws that are picked out and exploited by the other race. RH3 isn't THAT hard for a foreign protoss, i used to PvT and countering until arbiter and doing alot of recalls isnt hard when your opponent refuses to leave a crapload of mines and 3-4 tanks at his expo. Andromeda is the same deal, foreign Terrans cannot macro nearly as well as korean T's, and therefore the excess minerals Z gets leads to more gas expos, which leads to T getting raped eventually.

Maybe i'm dumb, but i really don't understand why thats a T favored map. Lots of very narrow chokes; T can hold most of the map just by defending a couple of them. Protoss has to travel a mile to surround and flank a Terran army. Tbh I don't play Terran and I don't play a lot of rush hour, I've just seen the stats and a lot of pro level games. Yeah, absolutely. It would be nice to be able to compile a huge pool of stats on how each map is balanced at each iccup level. Would even be possible to objectively compare the effectiveness of build orders on them. I still think it's quite a stretch to argue that RH3 is balanced TvP at any reasonable level though.
