Not really.
Part of the excitement of watching WoL was knowing how a typical game should play out in relation to how the current game you are watching is playing out. You don't have that in HotS because it hasn't be played enough to know how a typical game should play out. Time's where you're like "Oh wow, if he loses his expo here's he's totally going to miss _____ timing" and it's tense because of that.
It's intriguing watching HotS, but it's not really the same kind of intensity for me. I watch and go "Oh, I guess that's really strong. wtf are you supposed to do against that?" It mostly gets my mind wondering as apposed to just being plain entertained. I dunno if that makes sense to anyone else...

we just dont know enough about HotS as it is right now. however, it will be interesting to see how the game unfolds over the next months/patches and we can compare that to how WoL unfolded after it was released.

im verty disappointed with terrans so far they really really need a new unit cause hellbats are boriing and widow mines .... arent really entertaining either

I overall love Hots beta and its full potential , everything about it is a step forward from wol, even though for terran and zerg Blizzard brought back some of the old BW units and abilities with a twist a nothing really new. With that said i still think its awesome and im so ready for it to come out already i want to see whats next in the story.!

Husky made WoL interesting for me and that's what hooked me up. Now there's so much more coverage and so much more fun content that I think HotS' promotion is better so far. Definitely a lot more content and more hype...
I would have bought and played it anyway, though. I just love the game.

HotS definitely has the potential to be more interesting, it's just that so far we've only seen abuse of hellbats/voidray all ins :s

I watched minigun stream a couple of times in the last few days and I have to say, the PVZ matchup has drastically changed. It is so much more dynamic with recall+swarm hosts and whatnot. I look foward to the expension good sirs.

I think the option of "not enough information available" for this poll doesn't make sense as the question is about entertainment. Do you need outside information to decide if you feel entertained by what you experience?
I think HotS has definitely been more entertaining at the pro level.

I think it's more exciting because there are more tools for aggression. But maybe all this stuff will be figured out too when hots is at the same age as wol now and then we have the same deathball syndrom like now in wol...

It seems people thought the question was "Do think HotS is more fun?" .. .which it wasn't..
Personally I think after watching the pro-scene, it is terrible. The only thing that is done in progames is that they compete in abusing different units, mostly 1base allins, or one attack-I-hope-I-win-with-this.
If you compare that to GSL... WoL is at it's peak!

Well no. Not for me atleast. I love watching some high caliber WoL games, no that it's so cutting edge and the strategies of each player is so much more crystal clear now. With time Hots will get there as well.

The HOTS physics make a 5/10 match a 7/10. They are seriously awesome ^^

but HOTS has the potential to bring entertainment through innovative play with the new units/metagame.

Yes because it's new and thus far more interesting to watch. I get the same feel watching LoL since I understand enough, but still have a lot of things I've never seen before.

Entertaining? Yes, a lot more variety of gameplay in most matchups, even though some stuff isn't balanced right now. But as far as entertainment value goes, it's better than WoL right now.

After watching lots of MLG Winter HoTs showmatches ... the answer is definitely yes.

The HotS beta games are much more entertaining than the WoL beta games, both for playing and observing, but that's because we're all much better and this allows us to enjoy the new additions to SC2. It would have to take at least six months to be able to say if the game is looking to become as stagnant and devoid of action as WoL was.

Sometimes. I think pvz got marginally less interesting, pvt got a lot more interesting, pvp is way less interesting, zvz is about the same, tvt is more interesting, and tvz is a little less interesting. Pvz is soooooo stupid now.
But alas, the game is young and WOL was pretty terribad the first few months too.
