I'm not sure if this was supposed to be for people already into the game or for newcommers or just for the general public (probably not), it seemed to lack clear purpose apart from promotion. I would've loved to see a documentary that would make an "outsider" understand emotionally why anyone ever would play a game as much as they do. Compare to if this was a football-documentary and all we'd see were people in Barcelona or Ajax doing interviews about one another... Dario TLO was great though, as soon he talks you are immediately interested.

That's quite correct, I don't have the time to hound every member of TL. If you're a hardcore fan, this is probably not going to tell you anything new.

Anyways I expected more from TL than just a bunch of interviews and I will not pay/contribute for another 'documentary'. Did you not see the $0 option? Anyway, you spoke your peace, now kindly shut up.

It's a nonsense statement, and unfortunately it's now used to silence all criticism, whether constructive or not. Got anything that isn't positive to say about something you were excited about, dealing with someone you care about greatly? Stop feeling entitled. Bullshit. Oh shut up. The guy he's replying to SPECIFICALLY said that he is a paying customer and feels he's entitled to more. His criticism may have been fair, but his statement that since he paid he feels ripped off is not fair in the slightest. Especially since you weren't forced to pay. If you chose to pay before watching that's your problem.

It's just.. sad. | ||

It's not in the slightest bit my fault that you're incapable of comprehending what you read. EDIT: But let me put in some community service and spell it out for you: His criticism may have been fair, but his statement that since he paid he feels ripped off is not fair in the slightest.

I did gain some insight into each player none the less, and I think this sort of thing is a good foundation into making a more in-depth sort of feature that could focus on 2-3 players, if this is something that could be considered for the future. Like others have said, definitely some potential for some more narrative. But yeah, really enjoyed watching it. More than happy to put some of my dollars towards it.

I just watched a 15 minute sect on each player, with generic questions that are asked in every interview, and I didn't really learn anything about them at all. I knew TLO had his injury and how big it impacted him, where is the footage of him in recovery? Or maybe Tyler on a trip to the psychologist, I know its personal stuff, but that's what a documentary is. Hell, if that is too much, just following the team around behind the scenes at events would be really cool, or at the house with Nazgul in a clanwar, sitting in on the discussion on who to put on what map etc. To emphasise the story part, my hopes were raised with that cool timeline thing at the start, and was surprised to see that that segment was completely irrelevant to the rest of the program. I was expecting it to jump into each section of that timeline with footage of it. This kind of stuff is so important, because you can see the changes and the trials and tribulations of the team. If you sit a guy down a year after an event, there is likely to be exaggeration and/or downplaying of certain parts of the story, and the actuality of the situation is masked somewhat from the viewer. But actually seeing these things first hand brings the viewer in and they get to see the true emotions and it becomes a much more valuable experience.

Like for instance when they talk about how creative TLO is, great, show us something. A bunch of people talking about how creative he is with nothing else is pretty boring. Would be better with Hotbid doing the interviews.
