Seriously, anybody who even cares for this scums achievements in broodwar still retarded.
His face should be striken from the walls as a champion and sent immediately to the military.
I'm hope he has a job like clearing mines or testing grenades.
I wish I could say I knew he was a pos before now, but I didn't.
"I will destory everyone in 2009" and "I will defile myself by 2010"
This. Or maybe send him to the front in the next D-day operation.
But testing dynamites is good too.
He really deserves to go to jail. Either way; i dont believe go.go is involve (no proof too). go.go is a fun terran to watch although he sux balls, Who would want to vote for him anyways.

it wasnt worth the risk for so small amount of money. its really sad cause savior is a legend, a great player.

Not saying what these people did was justified but I'm not going to come down too hard on them. I'm pretty sure most people would not have done the same. Not sure why you think they would.
It makes sense to some degree - you either make money as a progamer by practicing every day for hours on end and winning games or by intentionally losing. Guess which one takes less effort.

sucks that such a big staple in progaming like SaviOr is implicated in this. And yeah, wouldn't it be a waste of money to bribe people like Justin and go.go to lose, seeing as they aren't too good to start and not many people would be betting for them?

Hence, his skills were real and so was his dominance. It's much more likely that the throwing of the match (winning or losing) was directly related to the current odds being offered by the bookie. If Savior was a heavy favorite, there was much more money to be made if he lost. It isn't really relevant to his skills, especially since I'm noting thus far that the dates of the supposed thrown matches are all very recent (the last quarter of 2009 and into 2010), and Savior hasn't been "dominant" since 2006. Speaking of which, I happened to be looking at Savior's recent games played... most are losses against top players, except one peculiar one against Jaedong on 11-30-09, which he won. Now that isn't to say there was obvious cheating here, because any ZvZ can be lost to build order, but this is Jaedong we're talking about, against Savior, who by most accounts is a has-been (14-26 in last 40 games). The odds on this game would've been heavily in favor of Jaedong, who just three months earlier picked up his Golden Mouse. There's no VOD of this match, but the report indicated it was an early game loss (suggests build order loss), and also part of a proleague CJ vs Oz match (as opposed to individual match). My point is, this sort of cheating is going to bring a lot more trouble and speculation, and I hope I've helped demonstrate just how tainted everything that touches Savior is, even potentially innocent superstars like Jaedong.
well there could be another reason jaedong lost on purpose. maybe to help boost savior's confidence in that "hey, i beat the #1 dude just right now, maybe i can reach the top once again" a little sacrifice for someone he may have respected as ruler of the zerg throne, someone who inspired him as a bonjwa.
now before you say this is stupid, i can think of more examples where this could have happened, where people might have had good reasons to sacrifice a win as courtesy to their opponent
that one bisu vs boxer. why did bisu lose to boxer? boxer was so rusty, and bisu was on fire during the time. maybe because bisu idolizes boxer so much, and wants him to have some confidence that he can still reach the top.
also e-heritage flash vs savior. honeslty flash lost on purpose. he could have easily won, but he let savior win. he probabaly didn't give a crap, but it may be a confidence boost.
jaedong vs flash on proleague right after jaedong won the series where the power outage took place. maybe jaedong felt sorry for the power outage, and took a loss for compensation. then again flash might have been vengeful.
anyways this is just a guess, as most of these things are right now. we don't even know 100% without a shread of any doubt if its savior, could turn out to be someone else.

this. when i read this post after the terrifiying list of possible suspects in the other thread, i was thinking that it sounds too "good" to be true. only very few players involved, only rather small amounts of money involved, no players involved i particularly care about or like. (i started following korean sc in late 08, so i never had a chance to become a fan of savior.)
all in all, it sounds fishy, like they only released the names of some few scapegoats to hide the much bigger magnitude of the fraud.

Two good things come out of this, as far as I'm concerned:
- The match-fixing scam should be over, at least for a while. - I won't have to put up with super-annoying Savior fanboys anymore.
All in all, I'm rather pleased with the outcome.

also i don't understand why people are as upset as they are with savior. well i guess it does hurt the pro-scene big time, and it is illegal. but imagine if you were playing some random 1v1 with one of your friends, and you could win 5 if you just faked a loss. nothing big eh? progaming match fixing could have started with this, and got much much bigger as more people got into it.
honestly, none of you can't see backho going up against jaedong, and someone like lomo wispering to people close by "i can bet you anything backho will lose" ?
also im not joking when i say i've ALWAYS felt something evil about savior. just the aura he gave off during 06, he came off to me as the bad-guy type. so doesn't really surprise me savior would do something like this. i grew to like him even with this aura, so it doesn't really phase the respect and fanboyism i have for the 06-07 savior

please not bisu, please god not bisu....

It's written "Conclusion", but are we to see when they are condemned?

Are the confirmed progamers still allowed to play? Or are their licenses restricted. Can they still play StarCraft 2?

I think it was something along the lines of the tournament organizers wanted one player to win so they used edited maps that would buff his units slightly while slightly weakening everyone elses units.
July can't be involved in this. Ma Bonjwa I can take, but not July.

My heart stopped. I thought it was Jaedong. And then I realized Jaedong didn't play on December 11th in the OSL, and he won on the 31st of December against Stats in the MSL. That day, Hwasin, Stats, Light, and BeSt lost.
Hwasin did lose on the 11th of December in the OSL to YarnC, and he did lose on December 31st to Kal.
...Hwasin :S
