Um, WTF.
I'm pissed. I knew I would die tonight. BC gives us like 4 days before posting anything. It hasn't even been 24 hours later and he posts the Day 3 post.
Well, that's all I can say for now. That's fucked up man. Really fucked up. You guys do the math.

lol
Since Ace is talking.
Yeah, I sort of knew Qatol was GF.
This is why you vote for the fucking *cough* medic *cough* next time. I thought I made it abundantly clear, but I guess not.
Don't bandwagon so early next time. Some of you really have a knack for voting reds into office. I'm glad they took me out early. I really didn't want to deal with all the drama.
There's a reason why I stopped PMing Q and the others.

I loved how this ended.
Way to give away some of the Reds, lol.
My profile says it all; and, I haven't changed it for several months.
Anyway, I try to keep my posts implicit and short.
Two major mistakes:
- Bandwagoning - PM Baiting
I'll say this right now, I'm running for Mayor next game. Take your time to vote. Vote wisely. Who wants to hear my side of the story?
Some reds were easy pickings this game and yet we still failed. Vivi came to me way too late; I already knew my fate.
- I knew Qatol was mafia by the end of Day 1. I'll explain this later. - Ver MIA? Please, it's the oldest trick in the book. Besides, he's like a brother to me. It was too late to do anything about it because I usually always die by Day 3. Yes, I protected him unwilling on night one (truth be told, I was going to protect Mynock). It doesn't help when Qatol was the only one giving me info. This goes back to problem 1. - With that said, read between the lines! I gave you guys SOG on Day 1. Likewise, I gave our DTs a chance to make Caller and myself the core. I didn't lie when I pointed the Town to SOG, Caller and myself. I said only one of us is Mafia. As for the rest? Caller and I would make a strong core and we missed it. If the DTs did their checks we wouldn't have been in this mess and the medics would have known who to protect. There was no communication because Qatol disabled it.
That's all I'm going to say right now.
3 easy Mafia and you guys only got one of them. lol
EDIT: My MVP award goes to SOG. For being one of the most obvious mafia and no one doing anything about it.
Qatol and Ver are a close second.

Fusion:
I'm not blaming anyone. You know the old saying, "Keep your friends close; keep your enemies closer." I was trying to use Qatol for information.
I knew the Town was fucked from Day 1. Hence, I didn't care if he knew my role. I was dead by Day 2 anyway unless the medics and DTs stepped forward (to me of course).
DTs were pivotal to my plan at first, yes. I won't deny that. From the outside, it looks like I was asking you guys to take a leap of faith. Risky but rewarding nonetheless. I wanted a core of trust and SOG's logic had to be taken out of the picture.
This goes back to L. Post game bragging? Plllease. Read over my posts again and tell me how I didn't have a good idea of what was up. Like I said before, no one trusted me from Day 1 for several reasons. One of them being I'm a dangerous player.
Likewise, I tried to approach a few players, but considering my previous history, they decided to remain silent.
Truth be told, I told Qatol I was planning on protecting Mynock instead of Ver (something I truly regret now because I would have been able to try and do something about it a lot sooner). Ver went from one extreme to another. He wasn't hard to miss.
Anyway, I look forward to the next game. It would be nice to be red for once.
As soon as I received his PMs. I knew I was dead. I was going to write him something along the lines of, "God damnit, you're fucking mafia," but I didn't have enough time. BC gave us no warning about the upcoming Day post, so bleh. Whatever!

Wow, some of you need to relax to the max.
Anyway, Mynock said it best:
On May 10 2009 05:58 Mynock wrote: My key point here is: The Town and Mafia played by a different set of rules. And YOU knew it.
This is undeniable. It was pretty obvious that they were working together based on the votes and kills (other than bockit, ahem). Either way the game is over.
The rules should be known to everyone next time.
Many Townies made key mistakes. The biggest one was the Qatol train, which to me was just baffling. Relax. We were screwed from the start. Chances of us unifying before the chaos that would ensue was slim to none. The DTs turned the other cheek when I voiced my ideas (hell, they had every right not to trust me) and we got fucked.
Likewise, if everyone were to vote for me as Mayor next game we would probably find ourselves in the same predictament based on bandwagoning.
Reds and blues alike made themselves huge targets this game, i.e. Pyr, SoG, Ver, etc.
How some of this went unnoticed is beyond me.
Now, keep in mind the amount of intellectual power we have on this website is unparallel and we collectively missed the mark.

L you guys didn't play it perfectly man. There are always ways to improve annnd
our Town was too stupid to boot.
Not like I played any better because I didn't. Did I protect anyone? No.
Did I attempt to find more people to rally around me? No. No time to. Two reasons for that
a) work; family = inactivity
b) didn't see a post from BC announcing a Day shift
Either way, it's hard to act upon information you just got.
I only had a few hours when Vivi approached me. Q gave me a good list to protect from the outset.
Let's look at this game from another perspective shall we?
Ace, Cam, Mynock or myself in office. The game could have ended the other way. Perhaps the mafia would then cry wolf.

That requires me to read. Awww.

On May 10 2009 07:32 Caller wrote: How about this for a new game idea:
There are 50 townies and 10 mafia. KP of Mafia is 1 per person. The catch is, each mafia member is by themselves in the beginning.
Storyline: A group of mafia sleeper agents woke to see their Godfather being executed publicly in the street. Unfortunately, they do not know who the others are.
Mafia: Two powers: 1) May investigate one person and find their role (millers included) 2) May kill one person (including other mafia members) that night.
This does two things: A) it gives mafia pause from simply just 1a2a3aing their way through the active players. This also prevents mafia from simply just hiding and staying inactive, as they need to meet up with the other mafia. Obviously, once mafia gets organized, they will have massive hit potential. But this is counteracted by the fact that they aren't organized to begin with-thus, there is a chance that mafia may hit their own. Thus, they may choose to instead investigate people and find that person's role.
This also counteracts DT roleclaim confirmations and Vigilante claims.
However, there will still be Millers in the game. Thus, a group of organizing mafia may inadvertently invite a miller into their group. Add the fact that Millers now can be any town, blue OR green (the miller "red" appears over blue/green, but town is unaware of it) and mafia must now be more careful.
Interesting idea. This would get rid of the bandwagon to a certain extent. I still think the game would be far too chaotic. Probably best to make it 55-60 Townies, but then again we're still having problems with activity.
