I see no problem with it tbh, it means nothing in game. Your game was different though btdt.

But if you don't like it then make a rule and then enforce it, yes.

Imo if you don't get modkilled then it shouldn't be warnable/bannable.

I don't think this issue had any malice in it as he simply tried to fill some side objectives.

I'm not chasing a ban here. Just saying that two warnings add up to a ban? On the other hand, NU is active as fuck, and it would be a shame to ban here. Thinking twice about it, I would not issue a ban here.

Your question should be irrelevant to banlist policy. If someone else wants you to continue to play mafia by sitting out a game for you then you probably can't be that big of a douche. And if a smurf does the sitting-out for the main then its an orthodox sitout. Therefore both should count.

The real question is, would you have proceeded to remove a ban off him if he hadn't protested.

As an experiment this game I offered the chance for (town) players, coaches and obs to submit their reads to me throughout the game for tracking/scoring. NU posts outside info in the thread and then calls attention to it.

Later on, I posted a host announcement regarding the read tracking experiment, which he proceeds to sell as a mod-confirm in light of his earlier townslip.

Since I had forgotten to add an explicit rule that forbade posting in game about the experiment, and a possible mod-confirm is involved, I don't seek to get into arguments re: host error, or engage in lawyering over an omitted rule. Instead, please consider this as supplemental to his prior record of bringing host/outside PM information into game. If he tries something like that again in a future game, then by all means let that existing warning stack with the ban.

Bans
Requesting a 1 game ban for checkm8. He asked me to be replaced out, then at a seemingly random point, all conversation stopped, and he disappeared until even today. He failed to vote and was modkilled in the process.
His reason behind replacing out was known to him before signing up.

Requesting a 1 game ban for Shapelog. He was lynched after not voting twice. Without the lynch, I would've modkilled him.
