Well. To me it kinda looks like this: got tilted and did something that had a very high likelihood of being stupid and not to the benefit of my alignment. Gave the nuke like a 75% of being legit. It is probably not as stupid as what I did the last time and as some of the hosts of the HR game have pointed out I kinda regretted the action within like a minute and tried to change the target of the nuke. Still despite some evidence to the contrary I actually don't like doing stupid, irrational and self-destructive things. I also believe that such behaviour should be met with consequences. So I am absolutely okay with whatever BH deems appropriate. TBH I also have some stuff coming up at work, so I probably won't join a game the next few weeks regardless of what happens here. edit: I agree that game b stuff probably shouldnt be bannable though. I think that was more of a gag of the hosts than like a legit game? | ||

Game B was a mini played in the same thread as host mafia with only the dead players from host mafia participating. Game a and game b were not connected to each other. | ||

I can't remember if those missed votes were in the last week but I had to move to Nebraska for a week and that certainly didn't help my ablility to play. But Perhaps the bans make sense as I'm gone for 10 months again now. Back to the Island for me. | ||

Warning for BTDT's flaming and discussion of strategic modkill is NOT approved. Warnings for non-voting for GlowingBear and TimeTraveler are approved. 1 game ban for Exo, Alakaslam, and Chezinu for each not voting twice are approved. 1 game ban for Disformation for using a nuke on himself is approved. Exo, Alakaslam, Chezinu, and Disformation have no active warnings or recent bans, so they each get 1 game ban. Failure to vote in a ban list game could be modkill+bannable on the first offense; doing so twice certainly falls within this realm. Nuking yourself is always a play against wincon, though Disformation, if you really thought it would somehow help you (and can convince me) please PM me. If Exo, Alakaslam, Chez, or Disfo want to discuss the ban list actions, please PM me. | ||

GM didn't actually review your case in any meaningful way; this was during the last year of his ban list moderation when he basically didn't read the list and just approved things. I suspect that if he had time to look over things you'd have gotten a 4 game ban, one for the one-game ban your rule violation actually merited, two more based on previous ban, and one because of the +1 your pre-existing warning gives you. So, you have a 4-game ban. Since you've asked me for this review, and you did indeed not get modkilled or push boundaries in the 2 games you played in while banned, and managed to keep your level of personal insults on this side of the line, I'm reducing the 4-game ban to a 3-game ban in a show of good faith. Since you've already sat out two games, you only have one ban left. You're now free to play TL Mafia once you've sat out one more game, OR contributed to our renewed library initiative! Never forget. | ||
