Requesting the standard one game ban for raynpelikoneet for his modkill in Resistance. The modkill was for uncivil and uncourteous conduct, having previously been warned for the same. A link to the modkill is here.

Blazinghand you have been in contact with James about this incident. You were in agreement of modkilling me in that Resistance game.
First question (and oh boy, this will go on); Do you feel like the post i quoted is appropriate in any means?

For other people; I literally quoted Blazinghand in a post which i got modkilled for. Then Fidei tells me this:
The hosts of Resistance V, in consultation with Blazinghand,The hosts of Resistance V, in consultation with Blazinghand...[...]
I did that on purpose, and i agree with the ban. I want to know why BH agrees with someone being toxic for saying something he himself, LITERALLY, said.

Blazinghand you have been in contact with James about this incident. You were in agreement of modkilling me in that Resistance game. First question (and oh boy, this will go on); Do you feel like the post i quoted is appropriate in any means? I certainly would consider an unofficial warning for a player who made a post like that. Although the post is basically fine, the "as a human being part" is going down a bad road; I'd probably send a pm saying "hey dude, this is over the line. Please stop" if the guy had otherwise been reasonable. If he had been out of hand, he'd be warned for a post like this. And if he'd been officially warned and told to stop? yeah, Modkill worthy. Oh snap, right, context counts doesn't it?
Historically, this is what I have done. One such example:
On September 17 2014 05:11 Palmar wrote: Like if marv is mafia rayn, it's your fucking fault we can't catch him because your head is stuck too far up your ass to actually talk like a reasonable human being.
I gave Palmar an unofficial warning for this post. I told him that you can't make posts like this, even though it's not over the line enough to merit a warning on its own. That being said, if Palmar (or, in the example you gave, Blazinghand) was being disruptive and making bad posts, and didn't respond to host warnings, I'd modkill him after warning him.
Perhaps this is a distant memory to you, but I was one of the best-mannered players and you were one of the worst-mannered players in the game we played recently in which I was scum. Although, yes, I gave alakslam crap (and I did apologise earnestly for doing so, as well as other times I felt I was over the line) I was careful to do my best to make the game fun and enjoyable for other players. In the context of my play, yeah, that was pretty rough, right? But on the other hand, I was creating in general a good environment. I think if you asked anyone who lived through to lylo (even Vivax) if they thought I was well-mannered and a pleasure to have in thread, I think they'd all say yes. And the hosts never warned me, they thought I was fine.
On the other hand, the hosts clearly warned you and were really nervous about modkilling you, nervous enough they felt a need to consult with me for some reason, even though you were told to stop this sort of behavior.
If the hosts were concerned with my behavior and told me so, you know as well as I do Rayn that I'd never make a post like that. I think we also both know that I was super friendly and everyone had a great time with me that game, and the same can't be said for you. Context, warnings, and overall play and manner are things that exist. We both know this. And even if I was somehow as bad as you, which, who knows, maybe is possible, it's up to the hosts what kind of game they want to run. It seems you crossed a line I didn't cross, somehow. Do you understand this, Rayn?
I'll let some more time for discussion of this ban to go on.

A player who was otherwise well-mannered and a pleasure to play with, if he made a post like this in a game like mine would probably get an unofficial warning via pm. That's usually what I do. I wasn't the host of your game, though; you signed up for a game hosted by someone else. You were told to stop making a certain type of post very explicitly. I'm not sure I understand your objections here?

I'm sorry for taking part in the decision. A newbie host felt uncomfortable dealing with you and turned to me for help. I didn't realize this would make you uncomfortable in this situation, and should have replied by referring this to another experienced host. I think I'd helped with the setup or something and felt I had an obligation to help out with this as well; in retrospect, a referral would have been a better move.
If you feel like this was inappropriate, I'm willing to refer this case to Foolishness to evaluate and approve or disapprove the ban. Would that help resolve this issue in a satisfactory way for you?

I am seeking a ban for you for the same thing i am seeked ban for.
|
Because i am done with people treating other people different than the treatment i deserve in the games. You deserve a ban for the same thing i do.
In the game you made the comment hosts had clearly said "this discussion is done" before you posted what you did. That is banworthy, you continued the discussion that was strictly forbidden (not to even mention I was again fucking being WARNED for that shit before).
