Kelsier had known that whilst the threat of pirates was severe, never did he envisage that his own crew would be turning against each other because of the infiltration. The pirates were surely good at stealing and killing, but never this good, he'd imagined. Kelsier ran to the toilet and vomited; the thought of his dear friend being tossed off the ship made him excessively sick to his stomach. Knowing Kelsier was inside, Blazinghand rapped the stall door with his fist in a panic. "Are you okay?" he yelled. "What in the bloody hell kind of question is that?" Kelsier retorted in utter frustration. Outside the washroom, ObiWanShinobi hauled several metal chains that the accused would be bound by and ultimately sunk with a metal bearing. Behind him, Toadesstern carted the heavy bearing. "Why are we using this bearing?" bemoaned Toad. "Why can't we just shoot the accused?" "So he'll never be found, simple as," replied Obi. "I mean we can blow up skiffs and their boats at night and let those be with the sharks in this area, but individual pirates, can't really do that. And if this guy is a warlord or a leader, they are going to want his body back anyways. Feed the sharks, and not the enemy's revenge." Kelsier struggled back upstairs, sick at the thought that his own crewmates might kill him in fear and paranoia. He struggled with a bottle of water before making it to the main lounge, asking the bartender for some whiskey. He took in a fair amount of it to drown out his worries, but failed as he saw the accused being shuffled outside in the hallways outside the lounge. Kelsier tried to get near but was pushed back. Unable to watch the execution, he retired to his quarters and buried his head on his desk. How many of these people were really on this ship, he wondered. Just another six weeks of this shit. It was going to damn near kill him, if it fully didn't. Just another six weeks of anxiety, of paranoia, and of many nights of lost sleep. Meanwhile, upstairs, the accused was hovered in netting above the water, as the rest of the crew watched. Some cheered the condemnation and others were apprehensive the wrong decision was made. But it didn't matter. The senior crew had decided after all that this was the person to go. Slowly, their target of choice, the condemned, was lowered. The engineer released the break and with bearings strapped, disappeared beneath the surface, surely never to be seen again. The crew looked over the edge for the inevitable bubbles. Instead, to their shock, a pool of red emerged, and then the condemned's body again, clenched and completely shredded between the jaws of a shark! Onegu, the ordinary seaman (Vanilla Townie) was devoured by the sharks! It is now night time. Night 1 ends in 24 hours at 23:00 GMT (+00:00) Please forward all night actions to both of us.
