My first scumread is on Misder. What happened on night 2 was that he used his ability to kill someone, and another mafia had an ability that prevents the damage and used it on Misder. The first point of suspicion I have is that Misder announced his ability and target before the deadline. Despite all possibility of mafia having roleblocks, redirects, or anything else that can tamper with his ability, Misder was brave enough to tell everyone. There is literally nothing to be gained for town from announcing his ability at that time. However it makes sense if he's mafia and he knows he's not going to die, and he's itching to let town know what's supposed to happen with his ##leeroy jenkins. The second point of suspicion is his choice of target. He had a strong scumread on me, but a shaky townread on jrkirby. Yet he yoloed on jrkirby just because of a gut feeling. He didn't consult with anybody else whether or not this was a good kill. His power doesn't restrict him using it the second night. Any town with common sense should have waited another day. If he wanted to kill jrkirby, he should have waited until he had more than a "gut feeling". If he wanted to kill me, he should have waited until I delivered something. Either way, sacrificing himself on night 2 was not the way to go. The third point of suspicion is how his ability works. Everyone's claim so far, the abilities have been written kinda vaguely and doesn't really tell you everything. However for Misder's ability, it explicitly tells him that he can only do it once per game. The only reason why the hosts would explicitly say this rule is if there's something in the game that can prevent Misder from dying when the ability goes off. Nobody claimed to have performed anything like this yet. Plus there's no reason for a town to protect Misder over ritoky or HF. Therefore such an ability exists, and it has to belong to mafia. Lynch Misder today, and when he flips mafia, we look for people who have claimed to have no N2 ability, or their N2 ability is not verified. | ||

Misder Day 1 power - 4 votes, but there is a vote on me every time I vote - only for Day 1 New power gotten day 2 - once per game at night, I can do 6 kp to myself and a target if I put ##LEEROOYYY JENNNKKIIIINNNS!!!! and pm target to host - used it night 2 No powers anymore - I still have a chicken ritoky D1: Blessing of Wisdom - Masoned with HF N1: Divine Favor - Not explaining this, it would only be beneficial for mafia. D2: Redemption - Allow player lynched by standard lynch to continue posting until 24 hrs into next cycle - used on risk N2: Hand of protection - gave me a divine shield which blocks all kp to a target, can be self-cast, and only pops when you absorb at least 1 kp. It did not pop last night, which means I am invulnerable essentially another night. Viscera Eyes D1: Homing Chicken > Misder - No clue what it does N1: No item D2: Poultryizer > HF - Roleblocks anyone who visits him and turns them into a chicken N2: Repair Bots > ritoky - Negates roleblocks on him D3: Emboldener. It will allow whomever I give it to to repeat their N2 action today in place of any other action. So I guess whoever gets it needs to have an ability today to replace it with? IDK, it's all pretty vague. Oatsmaster 5 powers at the start, discard 1 power when I use 1 power. So n1 i used mason, discarded vengeful power n2, used charc name check on damdred, discarded shield that blocks non factional powers. so im left with martyr Alakaslam N1 I was tracker, followed VE who sat around like a duff N2 I was a watcher, watched VE who was alone the whole time Damdred D1 – Extends the day by 25 hours N1 – Takes away the voting power of the first person to say a word N2 – Restricts slam’s posting liancourt D1 - if i forfeited my vote i could halve the number of votes someone received, didn't perform N2 - action was that if the person i chose died that night that they would still be able to vote on d3 and picked rito Chairman Ray N1 – Watcher – Slam was visited by nobody N2 – Medic – Saved Holyflare Holyflare Get an ability that increases in power the more votes that he gets Not sure what the ability is Jaybrundage D1 – Option to mason with the lynched target N1 – Creates a secondary lynch between himself and a target | ||

You have been scumreading Misder all game because of his behavior, and now you have rescinded on your scumread because you believe he told the truth about his ability. Why does him telling the truth about his ability make him towny? | ||

His name check ability sticks out to me. There is literally nothing that names do in this game, so putting this ability into the game doesn't make sense from a design perspective. Oats even decided to use this ability, while discarding vengeful and ability block, which are two wonderful abilities for either faction. He also decided to keep the martyr ability despite saying that he really doesn't want to use it. Makes sense if he's 3p with a win-con that has to do with names, and the martyr ability can change his win con. Maybe Misder could be 3p, but I think mafia is far more likely. | ||

He's been putting in an effort the whole game, but today the only thing he's talked about was his role claim. He said that he spared killing me so he can try read me, and there's been ample opportunity to do so already. His mind seems to have shifted gears from playing the game to convincing us of his claim. | ||

Summary of why he's mafia: He announced his kill power and target AT NIGHT. He killed someone who he was townreading He survived 6kp. Either he is lying about his ability, mafia prevented those kp, or there's a hidden mechanic in the game. In all cases he's the right lynch. He has literally done nothing on day 3. | ||
