If it would be like in Sicilian mafia in which there are 7 or so scummers and there are 3 scummers in a QT and 4 scummers in a QT then I would somewhat see it could be "cool". 1/3 scums not in scumQT is kinda uncool.

Well i suggest you try playing a game like this. ![]() Hell the host can make me an unkillable observer cop so i can just give reads and scum need to guess which guy that would be, individually.

I just didn't mention it because, well if scum go off in search of the cop, and maybe do retarded NKs trying to bluesnipe, it's all fine by me.

I've played mafia in games the host blatantly admitted were town-favoured (Death Note) and won anyway. One of my scumbuddies was a traitor I could not talk to or recruit... ![]() If this game did have imbalance, it certainly wasn't serious. The fact that no-one is really backing you up suggests others don't really think so either. edit: perhaps if it needed to be tweaked at all, it could have been allowed for you to send a message to scumQT like Hari could message town. That might have been logical.

Not being able to communicate is the biggest imbalance in mafia game for scum. Also marv, think about it, what if you had been Hari Seldon without mafia knowing it. You would have totally caught me on D1. Because as scum you are supposed to evaluate what you can get away with based on who the players are. I didn't know i was playing against yamato, why should i assume so? Also not being in game gives you an edge over other people because you can just tell what you see, you don't have to think about if you get lynched or if people believe you or not. You don't have to defend yourself in any case. You can just tell what you think. Because i was playing against people in the game i wanted to see what this Sheldon guy does on N1, to get clues on who they are and from there on HOW TO DISCREDIT them. I made a plan, and i think it could have won us the game. Except that it would not because the Sheldon guy was not in the game. So we were TOTALLY an uninformed minority, whih in my opinion is NOT balanced.

Otherwise it's nothing but a proof that there is a scum role that can fuck with the Sheldon guy, which in fact helps the town... ![]() i say it's GOOD for scum that town learns that they can't always trust seldon like that's the main thing you aren't understanding about your role. even if it's blatantly obvious that a seldon vote is supposed to help scum, that still helps you destroy seldon's credibility

I am perfectly capable of admitting i am wrong if i am in fact wrong and someone can tell me why. But given the information and the tools i had i do not see how i could have done anything that does not hurt my team in the long run.

(actually the original version of your role PM contained a copy of seldon's role PM, but I decided it was probably to much info for you to have.) however i wouldn't say it's unreasonable for you to be able to guess because people in the game and in the obs qt were able to figure out what was going on. and no, the game probably isn't balanced if i were to have rng'd everything because the average scum player probably isn't capable of using the mule's abilitties effectively. i specifically gave you the mule role because i thought you'd be able to use it more effectively than anyone else in the game. same goes for the seldon role. also I think some of your frustration at your loss needs to be placed where it deserves... on your teammates who did absolutely nothing for the majority of the game.
