One is the use of homophobic language, or heterobigohijole language. Pun, joke, whatever, I generally don't think that anyone and everyone should be banned for making stupid comments, possibly for some seriously mean-spirited comments, but that's not at issue here. This is...less clear cut than someone saying stop calling x a retard, stop cursing, etc., but to the extent that replacing "a" with "gay" is homophobic, the Vivax420 folks did something they were warned not to do. e: It sounds so hedge-y and equivocative to say "to the extent that replacing..." Making gay puns fits within the umbrella of behaviors we call homophobic. | ||

If you believe my reason for replacing out was not good, I'll accept the ban without protest, but I'm not sure how I'm getting an inactivity ban based on my actions. | ||

OVERRULED Your honor, clearly this man, geript, has no authority over this procedure, specially not enough to object to my objection. Moreover, he has no evidence that my own person has no grasp on the English language. Without evidence, his claim holds no water in this court of law, and should be disregarded and ignored with immediate effect. Adulatory comments towards the balance of justice (judge) in a court of law are strictly forbidden by the Judicial Code of Conduct, article 5, line 10. Thereby, I demand geript be put in contempt of court as well | ||

I get BH perspective Having said that, the remark was pretty light given kush usual standards, I'm not sure a ban would actually make the statement intended I'm happy with this one to be a warning with the game loss enough of a punishment personally. | ||

For something to be homophobic (or racist, etc etc) there has to be malicious intent, in my book. But he ignored a specific host warning like you said, and that is that. | ||
