Kwark maybe. Coag, Cora, I'm issuing a moratorium on your feud. Effective immediately, hash it out however you two want, privately, but there will be no more threads devolving into anarchy because of this. You will both behave like you are mature adults, and if you prove incapable of that, I will, by god, treat you as children. I'd prefer not to. Reach whatever agreement that is, even if it's "I will ignore you in every game we play together and you will do the same." kushm4sta, unless you can bring up specifics and show how it impacted a game, (privately preferably) do not make accusations of things. This discussion is *over* until such a time as someone PMs me evidence. I'm growing really fucking tired of all this guys. I could have sworn we were all mature, competent adults, but apparently this isn't a mafia subforum, its a daycare. I guess technically there can be underaged people here.

Bans for Kurumi, OdinofPergo, geript, nyxnyxnyx, Storrzerg, Kenpachi, Bill Murray, gtrsrs, Onegu, and Roffles. Geript, Odin, and Kurumi are the ragequitters (the rest are inactivity modkills) I believe so I'm wondering if they need harsher bans or not (or whether or not that's up to me). I'm not sure that all of the inactivity modkills should be the same punishment as the ragequitters. Not sure if any warnings beside all this needs to go out---BC and marv are excused from bans due to extenuating circumstances. This game has been going on for a long time so I've messed something up here or people feel the need to appeal, by all means let me know.

Odin is newer I think and just succumbed to the pressure. That said, here's the applicable spoiler plate text from OP: On November 21 2013 02:56 WaveofShadow wrote: Play to win. This means you play your best to help your team win while you are alive and in the game. This does not mean, for example, that you should try to win by being a jerk to the other players so they all want to quit playing. If you're not playing to win you risk a modkill. This also means that you cannot leave the game without a good reason without a ban. These situations will be dealt with on a case by case basis. PM your host if you need to leave the game; I will attempt to accommodate. Game-specific rules: Modkills: This game follows the TL Mafia Ban List. If you are modkilled, your punishment will go beyond being eliminated from this game. Please refer to it for questions about your punishment. If you want to use this game to sit out your ban, please PM Flamewheel or post in the Ban List, and also type /sitout in the thread here. I "rage quit" primarily because a player had 2 posts at the end of day 1 and roughly another 13 by the end of D2. By the end of D3 when he was lynched I think he had <20 posts still most of which were one-liners. To me, that is a player that isn't playing at all and should've been modkilled on D1 for refusal to play. As of right now and in every future game I play in, if not playing the game like this continues to go unpunished then I see no reason to play the game. I'm sorry that my ragequitting negatively affected the remaining players, but honestly when all players subjected to that type of inactivity (true dice-roll lynches) then everyone suffers even more. This type of play being "acceptable" will only make me want to sign up for games in the future to specifically not play and post "This is my mandatory post for day X" just to prove my point. I'm not objecting to or appealing the ban. My only request is that if the ban is >1 game that is be changed to a ban for X months (where X = # of games that would be banned from). I don't plan on playing mafia here or anywhere else for a while regardless.

But usually coag is pretty happy as town to be the one with a hipster vote. Here he actually joined the main wagon for no particular reason but still did the poke-fun thing. It's not much but it's maybe interesting. And coag was caught for role use in the end too. Not like he was coinflipped.

EDIT: not claiming I am particularly good at reading Coag, but lamenting his low postcount is not going to do you any good... he's the typical example of someone who you don't catch on quantity, but on quality.

Geript: I <3 you buddy, and you know I share your views regarding the activity (and we've discussed it to some extent in the obs QT) but your reaction was unacceptable. As other people stated I put a great deal of work into this game and to have people rage quit because something isn't going their way is completely unacceptable and disrespectful. (Imo barely playing the game is also disrespectful in a way but that's a different story). The problem is as a host I am expected to hold up the status quo and springing a change in activity rules specifically for my game probably wouldn't have flown very well. I am in agreement that simply posting once per day to fulfill the requirements goes against the spirit of playing mafia but truly Coag was well within his rights to do as he did that game, especially as scum. I'm not a fan of his play but sadly, it's legal and needs to remain so. If this sort of thing is to be changed then again as I've mentioned (and I think it was sort of shot down already) a general overhaul of the rules is needed, and I don't think people will agree to that. What needs to happen more often is policy lynching. It's the sort of thing that is always talked about but people don't follow through with it. You joining games and doing as he does won't correct the problem, and won't do anything to make it so bad that people will suddenly decide that something should be done, you'll only perpetuate it yourself and I know you won't find that specifically a fun way to play. Come back and play again with me and we'll push policy lynches through together. You and I will make it happen, luv muffin.
