Day 2 About a month had passed since the murder of Jampidampi, and the UN still had no clue who was behind the terrorist attacks. Rumor had it that the next attack would be at the UN headquarters itself. Security had been tripled to cope with these new rumors and keep everyone sane. Meanwhile, Hapahauli still had to be head of the UN and sort out silly little squabbles, like pirates robbing cruise ships and a three-country war over 5 square yards of land. It had become obvious that Hapahauli did not enjoy this job. “I really wish you idiots hadn’t elected me king, I mean, president of the UN. This job is so boring. Why can’t all the pirates just act like Jack Sparrow? Why can’t they just split the land like we split a cake! The world is so stupid!” he constantly remarked to his subordinates. One night, a group of men managed to get past security using the only way no one would ever think of to get through security: the front door. The men surrounded Hapahauli and asked him, “Are you Hapahauli, leader of the UN?” “Why yes, yes I am! That was some grand entrance. It wasn’t so James Bond-like as it was simple. That’s how I like my solutions: simple and effective. Are you here to complain about the fact that everyone only speaks gibberish here? Because I can’t help you with that. It bothers me too!” “No.” said one of the men. “We are here to kill you. The Consortium will rule the world, and we will start with you”. With that, all of the men drew guns and pointed them at Hapahauli, waiting for their boss to say the word. “Well if you’re going to kill me, I might as well go down swinging!” Haphauli calmly said as he punched one of the men in the face and rolled behind cover. He pulled out his hidden Colt .45 and began to return fire at his attackers. He managed to take out two of the attackers before he was hit in the shoulder. At his 182(?) years of age, taking a bullet wound anywhere was certain to be fatal. He dropped his gun and laid on the floor, paralyzed by his wound. The men walked up to him, and rolled him onto his back. “The Consortium won’t be stopped. Not even by some freak-of-nature old man like you.” With that, he pulled the trigger of his gun and ended Hapahauli. Hapahauli, as The Netherlands (VT), was murdered by the Consortium! Or was he? Very few people gathered at Hapahauli’s funeral. Being 182 (?) meant that most of your friends and family were dead already, and very few heard the lawyer reading Hapahauli’s last will: “...and as to who will succeed me as mayor, I decree that VayneAuthority shall be elected mayor." It is now Day 2. VayneAuthority is now mayor. You have until Friday, Jun 14 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) to decide a lynch. | ||
