Ok I reread it again and realised that it may be ambiguous ...
but can't put more than one vote on a guy or vote for themselves-- a self-vote is an abstain. They can vote to give the power to nobody, but only with one vote.

JX... what are you talking about? Kush and Djo understood the plan. They would have looked terrible if they objected to it (after all it was pro-town to accept it). I have no idea why you objected, and your antics nearly screwed the town singlehandedly.

This bad rule intepretation that you didn't get costed you the game remember? I find it ludicrous that you still didn't know what was the final game deciding play.
The only reason I was obsessed with hapa was because you 2 appeared to have pulled off a super bluff as mafia by agreeeing to his plan. But the fact is you actually thought and still seem to think that the plan that made you lose was to be a plan that would make you win and never realised it until now.
You get absolutely no bragging rights for fooling me this way lol...
For the record I didn't really feel like I won and I never bragged about it. Everything I said post game was only frustration. In fact, Hapa singlehandedly won the game, and I still don't get your lack of respect/fear for his town play.
I hardly did anything. The most pro town thing I did was realising something about the voting N4 which lead me to not claim:
if Djo is town,
I voted after hapa did for ghost,
Therefore we're the only 2 people who voted for ghost then hapa is still town.

These would be the votes (in order):
Djo->Mr CC
Hapa -> ghost
JX -> ghost
If Djo & Hapa are town, Mr CC would have 1 vote, and ghost would have 2 votes, thus ghost gets elected
If Djo is scum and Hapa town, ghost has 2 votes thus gets elected
If both Djo and Hapa are scum, ghost gets 1 vote and thus gets elected
If Djo is town and Hapa scum, Mr CC gets 1 vote first and thus gets elected.
The only advantage of your plan was being sure that Mr CC would get elected if Djo was town and Hapa was scum.....in every other scenario you have no idea who is the real scum and you basically wasted that witchcraft vote. If both Djo and Hapa are town, you even "confirmed" Djo as scum and lost town the game.
Not only that, but even if you tried to figure any of those situations out...other townies don't know if you are town or scum so they have even more scenarios to take into account, for instance "If JX is town and telling the truth then..." and "If JX is scum and lying then...".

What happens? Exactly what happened before, ghost gets elected and Djo is "confirmed scum". Excuse my skipping and skimming to the end but I really thought djo was town because that plan was about to cost him the game were he scum and it didn't make sense to me that he'd have absolutely no resistance towards the plan.
Djo and Kush (would be the next target along with me if djo flips town) had nothing to gain as scum, be it as a team or seperately, would agree to the plan. I mean they'd look good during the day but come night djo will be instantly be labelled as scum.
Therefore, dismissing a bluff that made no long term sense, I conjured up theories of how hapa/mrcc/ghost could be mafia and how they would have something to gain since hapa was the one who proposed the plan
in retrospect my vote would be useless even if Djo was town and hapa was scum since I voted for ghost after hapa did.

But if you thought Djo was town....if you had let the plan go through Djo would be confirmed town so it would not "doom" anybody, since not even Hapa or ghost would be "confirmed town".
I take it you "assumed" Djo was town, and wanted to prove if Hapa was scum or town with that vote of yours then?
Again, did you take into account people assuming Djo was confirmed scum and maybe assuming you were his scumbuddy for trying to NOT paint him as confirmed scum?

nah I wasn't assuming, I was convinced that djo was town for reasons stated above.
Actually my vote on ghost was placed very very late in D4, when I was already convinced by kush and djo were townie.
I never thought too much about protecting myself that way because I wasn't trying to save myself but to save town (or at least who I thought were town). If the argument came up in D5 that I was protecting Djo I'd use the same argument that I'm using now: he did nothing to stop the plan which was about to expose him.

My vote on ghost which actually helped my pro-town decision making was actually a coincidence and because I didn't make allowance for town hapa when I placed that vote. I had a wrong idea about the voting mechanics too (that only town would be notified if they won) when I posted some long babble about the PLAN and its possible outcomes
I only came to a realisation after ghost won, that my vote was telling me that hapa could very well be townie

Agreed MrCc. With the exceptions of Hapa, DP, Thrawn, and maybe MrZ, this game should be looked back on as a cautionary tale. Trying to justify bad play after the fact isn't helping anyone to learn from their mistakes.
