Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted in like two days. I've been super busy and I JUST caught up (not even really, on page 60 at the moment) and I wanted to bring something up for everyone.

I moved my vote around because I was trying not to be on the wrong side of a tie broken by "who hit plurality first" and I found both of them lynchworthy. Mafia knowing there's a doublevoter doesn't seem wise.
In this post, BH claims that he thought both BC and RedFF were lynchworthy and his switching was due to a fear of getting into a tie breaker type situation and then having mafia find out he has two votes.
But if you look at the voting record, this claim makes no sense.
At 16:37, the votes were red 7 (really 8 cause of BH's "double vote") bc 5
At 16:45, BH switches from redFF to BC, making it red 6 bc 6 (7)
This is directly contradicting his "I don't want to be in a tie breaker situation" reasoning since he himself put the vote te be MUCH MORE likely to be in a tie breaker situation.
On February 23 2012 06:46 Blazinghand wrote: I don't claim to know what's gonna happen but like we could use some help on the BC wagon Dirk
He then, instead of trying to get out of the situation himself, asks Dirk to help him get out of a potential tie breaker situation. No, Dirk is someone that he's repeatedly called dumb throughout the game and also someone that he criticized for contradicting himself. And Dirk was also pushing for a BH lynch on Day 1. Why would he trust Dirk to get him out of his "scared to be in a tie break" situation?
At 16:50, Jitsu switches, making the vote red 7 bc 6 (7)
On February 23 2012 06:52 Blazinghand wrote: with Jitsu's vote on redFF, redFF is sitting on 7 votes to BC's 6 and will be lynched in 8 minutes
On February 23 2012 06:53 Blazinghand wrote: redFF at 7 BC at 6 redFF about to get lynched
With only 10 minutes left, between two people that he thought were both lynchworthy, he not only contradicts what he said he was doing but only gets out of the tie breaker situation due to DrH switching his vote from BC to redFF.
This inconsistancy with what he said he was doing and what he did added to the fact that while he says now that he considered both to be lynch worthy, at that time, he was in favor of a BC lynch over a redFF lynch, even though him pushing for a BC lynch was "scarier" for him since it had more chance of allowing mafia to figure out his double voting power.

Will you continue to be busy in the near future chaoser or can we expect regular posting from now on?

Actually he did post some "justification" and he also said if BH flips scum we should kill Jitsu.
I have no clue why, but then again that's probably because it's hard for me to put myself in the shoes of a player who basically ignores half of the goings-on in the game.

Yah, sorry, my activity is going to get way stepped up from now on.

Hey guys, I'm actually back before the deadline!
1) my ability is always active 2) it doesn't show up in the vote count
3) I shouldn't have moved my vote off Risk. Even though RoL is more likely to be lynched, if I go out I might as well go out with my finger on the trigger.

I don't have a problem with you pointing out lurkers if you're going somewhere with it or trying to pressure them into being more active. I have a problem with you adding doubt to what's happening to town and basically listing lurkers with a ton of fluff. You were right to call out risk.nuke however, I just checked his filter.
Looking at r.n's filter he's offering very little compared to what he had to bring to the table in Arkham City which makes me suspicious. He didn't troll or anything like that in AC and I see a lot of commentary on things not relevant to finding scum when he was pretty serious about that in AC.
Chaoser seems to be totally busy and just uninvolved, I'm inclined to think he's town but he needs to post a lot more as soon as he has the time. Jackal is playing very reservedly which is not totally normal but does not alarm me. The few posts kitaman has made are posts that I'm mostly alright with. Risk has been sitting in irc for the last couple of days playing irc mafia and bw-mafia instead. Yes if that happens it IS activly lurking and it IS activly playing anti-town. I agree on Chaoser. That guy seems to be totally busy, he hasn't even posted this cycle so we'll see about this. The chances of him being modkilled are quite high, so no need to talk about him unless he actually comes back voting for someone.
Didn't know about that, I don't pay attention to the irc. His filter is pretty damn scummy, hasn't BH been pushing r.n too?

A vote switch to risk at this point would be ridiculously bad. Feel free to pressure him, but right now he feels like the easy mislynch target.

Ah yes you're right he's totally in danger of getting lynched.

Night Falls! Blazinghand the Floridian has been lynched It is now night 2. Remember to get all your actions in before Sunday, Feb 26 9:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00), that's 23 hours from now (allow me one hour to work out the day post and resolve actions). I will not be giving chances this time. This information is both in this post and the OP
|
Palmar, can you undate the OP with the Day 2, etc. links? Also, a final votecount at the end of day would be nice too. It's ok if you don't want to do the latter one, I can do it myself

Should have gone with RoL. I'm going to have complaints about the setup if the vote counts can't be trusted.

VIG into:
RoL risk.nuke dirkzor VE
|
Toadesstern last minute doubtcasting and overall weak play is highly suspect as well, if I were a DT I'd pick him or BC probably.
At least we know now it isn't a no-flip game. If Scum have janitor, one-shot janitor maybe, I'd use it Day 1 no matter if RedFF were town or not. The confusion it would cause is worth it either way
|
It's very likely that there is an equivalent scum role, so until it is dead we should assume that scum have 5 votes
|
If I were a vig I'd probably shoot into people like risk, wbg, VE, chaoser, maybe DocH, maybe prplhz, maybe kita. Just mentioning.
Yeah I know that's a lot of names but all of those people look incredible bad given this flip.
and yeah agree it's pretty likely that there's going to be a scum role like that.

Why do we look bad and not Dirkzor Jitsu BloodyC0bbler

risk for willingly playing anti-town. VE for pushing BC and BH and redFF. BH flipped blue, BC is looking townish to me given the voteswitches on d1 and redFF was the easy guy. Take that + everything I said about him the last couple of days and it's enough for me to shoot that guy if I had a gun. Chaoser for what I said before about him. WBG for what I said d1 about him and this whole "everyone not voting BH or RoL from now on has to be considered Mafia" although I agree that could be his ego. Well from time to time it looks like he's trying to buddy me, defending me A LOT every day and than there's those times like yesterday when he talked to me and suddenly made that germany post.
Kita for semi lurking, same as risk he's sitting in irc playing irc-mafia and stuff the last couple of days. prplhz would probably be the one I'd struck out if I had to struck someone out. It's just still very little he's posting and he's refusing to post unless people ask him about his reads. That doesn't sound townish. DocH for attacking me all day based on nothing except for "well Toad was doubtcasting". Well duh, the guy flipped blue and I said it's very much possible the guy had a bad start d1 and didn't know what to do.
Yeah it's only 1 phrase per guy but whatever.
