When playing with experienced players they tend to base their scumhunting on meta and smaller stuff that can be hard to see as a newer player. That makes newbie games more fun to follow as they are more transparent. Whether that is better scumhunting I won't say. Good scumhunting is when you find scum..

Or did you already forget the whupping my scum team laid on you in Wiggles, Dirkzor? :p The MOST important thing that newbie townies lack, imo, is the ability to create a good town atmosphere. it's really important to keep discussion crisp, focused, and constructive, as opposed to belligerent, random/crazy, or the worst, when town activity is nonexistent. that said, I am going to play a lesser role in this game due to school ramping up, so I'm going to focus on making few, constructive posts. just an fyi. I won't lurk like a douche

The scumhunting we did that games was based on what was written in the thread and how we perceived it (and we were wrong). When i played in Purgatory and Hammer most of the scumhunting was based entirely of meta and "He don't usually does this" arguments.

Yeah... while I agree a lot of the vets just do crazy nonsense, there are some really good vet players that I try and model my play after, like BC, Incognito, etc, both in terms of scum-reads and posting style. guess we'll see how this game unfolds
