Town: Silver Hand Recruit - Vanilla Townsperson No ability Nat Pagle - Detective Every night he fishes, asking for the alignment of a person. 50% of the time he reels in a fish and gets to know their alignment. Tirion Fordring - Bulletproof He has divine shield. If someone tried to kill him at night, it destroys his shield first before killing him. Leroy Jenkins - Vigilante Any night he may rush in and kill someone. But at the end of the next day, after voting, he is killed by the whelps. Tinkmaster Overcharge - Transformer Every night Tinkmaster may target a player. Target player looses their ability. 50% of the time, they are turned into a squirrel. The other 50% of the time they are transformed into a devilsaur. The squirrel has no ability. The devilsaur is a one-shot vigilante. Priest - Random/Healer Priest draws one of six cards each night and may choose to play it or not play it. Cards: Circle of Healing, Heal, Mind Vision, Shadow Word Death, Shadow Word Pain, Silence. Circle of Healing: No one except the priest can die this night. (too strong?) Heal: Target player (can't target self) survives one direct hit tonight. Mind Vision: Priest is told the alignment of a random player other than himself. Shadow Word Death: A player is targeted. If that player has an ability, then that player dies. Shadow Word Pain: A player is targeted. If that player does not have an ability, then that player dies. Silence: Target player no longer has an ability. Scum: Imp - Vanilla Goon No ability Sylvanas Windrunner - Mind controller When Sylvanas Windrunner dies, a random memeber of town is mind controlled. Remaining members of the mafia choose who the mind controlled player votes for. Mind controlled player does not know they are mind controlled. The mafia do not know who has been mind controlled either. Patient Assassin - Killer Once, Patient Assassin may target a player at night. If that player has an ability, then they will be killed. Rogue - Random/Killer Rogue draws one of six cards each night and may choose to play it or not play it. Cards: Sap, Shadowstep, Assassinate, Deadly Poison, Vanish, Conceal Sap: Target player is roleblocked for that night Shadowstep: Target mafia is roleblocked that night and cannot be killed. Assassinate: Target player is killed. Deadly Poison: The mafia's target has one extra damage dealt to it that night. Vanish: All other players are roleblocked that night. Conceal: Target mafia member's checks are returned as town until they use an ability. 3P: Ragnaros: A random player other than Ragnaros is killed each night. Crazed Alchemist: This ability is used during the day. Target player votes for whatever Crazed Alchemist wants them to vote for. Notes: Vote-highjacking is not public. All the vote counts at the end of the night display what the players publicly voted for. Behind the scenes, the actual votes are tallied. If the altered votes elect to lynch someone else, the other person is lynched instead. Sylvanas's Mind control can be silenced. First while Sylvanas is alive, she may be silenced. Then after she is dead, her target may be silenced and then will no longer be mindcontrolled. The mindcontrolled player's status is revealed upon death, if they are still mindcontrolled. Being mindcontrolled counts as an ability. Divine shield is an ability, but once it is lost, it is no longer an ability. Devilsaurs have an ability until they use it. Patient Assassin has an ability until he uses it. Sylvanas has an ability. Mafia wins if it has a majority of the votes, including a mindcontrolled vote, or nothing can stop that from happening. Town wins when the mafia is lynched. 3P players win if either town or mafia has won and they are still alive. Mafia has one kill each night, aside from their abilities. They choose one player to carry it out, who may be roleblocked. This player may not do any other night actions. It's a semi-open setup, with the roles visible, but the numbers of each type not visible. Silence/Tinkmaster roleblocks a player for that night as well. Killing a player does not stop their role from going through.

I thought that the 1-in-6 chance for circle of healing would really tone it down. plus it also protects the mafia from ragnaros. Maybe not enough though. Mind vision could be changed to targeted, but I was going towards gimmicky rather than serous with this setup. What do you guys think of the silence/tinkmaster mechanics? As well as killing conditioned on abilities? What about leroy? I think he might be the most fun role I made.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aju_jEgfbzoUdE5zc3NSckdFQ0VNX1l0ckhYNHBsNHc&usp=drive_web#gid=0 For 16-20 players. Same PYP rules of the players picking, etc. Here are the other rules: 1. After everyone picks their roles by priority, or is otherwise rejected their role, the list will be randomized. This is so splash spells like Psi Storm have more random collateral damage. 2. Each player is granted three abilities. Unless otherwise stated, each ability is one-used, and the player can only use one ability per cycle. Probes, which are the replacements for Vanilla Townies, only get a single one-use role. 3. This game uses an armor mechanic to calculate damage. 1 KP has a 100% chance of landing unless otherwise stated (usually if it's not 100, it's 60, and vice versa). Then, the target's armor is multiplied by 10 and subtracted from the base percentage. So for example, say you want to use the Stalker's Kite ability on a Zealot who is being protected by Guardian Shield. The Zealot has 1 base armor and +2 from Guardian Shield for a total of 3. This means that the Kite ability has a 60 - 3*10 = 30% chance of killing the Zealot. If he is not being protected by the Sentry and has only 1 armor, Kite now has a 50% chance of killing the Zealot. 4. A player firing a shot will not be told what the final hit percentage is. They will also not be notified if the shot was a hit or not, simply because it's redundant; if the shot hit, it would be announced in the daypost anyway. 5. Players who survive attacks will be notified that they had been attacked. Any other ability will not alert the player, regardless of success, unless otherwise stated.

I have an idea for a tf2 themed game, but if I put down the role pms here, it may or may not ruin it. There are 10 separate roles you can be, one role (the administrator) will be only filled by one player, the other 9 roles will be filled by 2 players each. The 9 roles are as follows. Scout Soldier Pyro Demoman Heavy Engineer Medic Sniper Spy Each role/class has special power(s). This means that there is no such thing as a vanilla townie. I will not tell you those powers. Roles will be determined by RNG. There are 2 teams: BLU and RED. You do not know what team you're on. The administrator is a third party, with special win conditions. There are 6 mafia members, and 2 mafia crews - 3 mafia members per crew. 1 crew is BLU mafia, the other is RED mafia. BLU mafia wins if BLU town loses, RED mafia wins if RED town loses. When RED mafia outnumber RED town, or if nothing can stop that from happening, RED mafia wins, and so does BLU town. When BLU mafia outnumber BLU town, or if nothing can stop that from happening, BLU mafia wins, and so does RED town. When RED town outnumber BLU town by a scale of 2:1 or greater, RED town wins, and BLU town, BLU mafia, and RED mafia lose. When BLU town outnumber RED town by a scale of 2:1 or greater, BLU town wins, and RED town, RED mafia, and BLU mafia lose. The classes that are mafia are not pre-determined, they will be RNGd. The administrator cannot be mafia. Players, when lynched, will show their team, their class, whether or not they were mafia, and a description of that class' powers. When killed in nighttime, players will show their team, their class, whether or not they were mafia, but not a description of that class' powers. One lynch per day. Also, another idea: mission mafia. Basically it's mafia, but every day, mafia have to complete a mission(e.g. make a post with 4 or more 'z's in the post), or risk dying.
