Last three votes (mine included) were at night for Ace. I was voting Ace because in RAM2 (townies could kill without warning) Ace advocated everyone being calm and talking. Sengoku (Townies can kill at night) and Ace is advocating attacking.

Ah, right, I missed your vote. I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad thing. But I don't like people voting without reason. And now, since you have given me a reason, you're ok =)

i just dont like anyone being aggressive and ace gave no explanation for it.
also i'm not afraid of actually lynching ace because we're not even close to a majority.

K. I don't disagree with you, I just want people to be kept in check.
I hope people will be more active Day2 so we can actually get a lynch off.

Hmmm yes look at my trap working perfectly. Notice I never even said I would attack anyone, and I've already outlined why defending is bad.
See how fast they are trying to sneak a bandwagon? and lol @ opz:
So because I have 2 different plans for 2 different games that makes me scum? WOW! What logic!

i think ace has a pretty good point that most people that are trying to bandwagon him right off the bat are probably mafia or mafia influenced..
|
I voted for him because he's a big bad rapist and I forgot to make Pandain wear her chasity belt this night.

Yea, their reasoning is "because I'm aggresive". What a terrible reason for trying to lynch someone. Aggressiveness doesn't mean you're scum or town. So as soon as the day flips lets get one of these suckers.

Ace your reasoning for not defending sucks.
How would randomly attacking our neighbors be more beneficial than immediately either halting mafia hits or exposing them?
|
Okay, what is with the giant bandwagon on Ace? I haven't seen a single, credible explanation yet. All that I've seen are people saying, Ace supports aggressiveness, that's mafia behavior. Well... so did Loanshark and Annul. Why aren't people targetting them? Personally, I don't agree with aggression, but god, you guys need to stop bandwagoning.

Reasons? I'd love to hear them. Once again, why Ace instead of Annul or Loanshark? All advocate the singler person, FFA, all-out-aggressive style.

A vendetta against any and all aggressive players isn't going to help you.

Well given that I can unvote anytime I'm not going to be conservative with them. Plus as already outlined my plan requires attacking the aggressors.

No my reasoning for not defending makes perfect sense.
1.) Look at Day 1: pitiful votes, pitiful town activity. This town/island has NOT agreed on anything. It was just you and 2 other people trying to make it look as if the entire playerbase agreed on not attacking when barely half the place even made a point about it.
2.) If townies defend and scum attack then we are fucked. They just take neutral territories or pop you with abilities we don't know about. How do you link players to provinces? You need a mass province claim. With the activity on Day 1 where is your mass province claim coming from? Oh right, 6 people. Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
3.) Read the rules: You CANT PUNISH PEOPLE FOR ATTACKING! So you don't know who claimed what province. Fine. Let's just all gang up on the guy who was aggressive and pop him! WHOOPS!
Defend-makes you immune to almost all attacks except by multiple people of the same affiliation or with some sort of special ability. So if two people that aren't directly allied attack you with your Defense up, they can't harm you. But if they are both mafia for example, then unless you are being counterattacked (for instance, if someone attacks one of the mafia) or have aid sent, you will be in trouble.
What's that? The player that pops someone Night 1, who is suspected of being Scum because he didn't play by your non-majority sanctioned little rules ends up taking someone out of the game and defends on Night 2. Oh snap - you can't punish him! Why? Because you need players that are directly allied to break him. Are all pro-town players directly allied? I don't see that anywhere in the rules, especially since you know, Caller hinted at this being broken up into factions.
So then what happens? Well unless that function is dumb enough to listen to you, once they attack a province and it flips everyone will suspect that the bordering countries are in some way allied - therefore BLOWING that faction's cover and now everyone can rock them.
So even people that would want to pop the guy can't because they'd blow their own cover.
See how easy it is to swallow up your pathetic little plans and shitty little "lynch ace" bandwagon when you aren't even thinking clear? So either you're a townie that didn't think this through or you're a scum player that tried to pull a fast one on the town - but not with the big bad wolf here!
So which one is it? Are you a terrible townie or a genius scum? Time's ticking, bub.
|
ya honestly anyone that thinks its a good idea for town to sit around defending while mafia take over the entire map needs to fucking stop and think about it.
|
I agree that the plan requires activity from everyone, so a few inactives will kill it off if they're town inactives.
Your point 2 makes it seem like you haven't read my plan. Unless there's way more mafia than there usually is (ie 8/24) then the mafia cannot possibly be even in number of provinces following night 1. I'm not advocating eternal peace, I'm advocating peace on night 1.
Ok, I assumed that directly allied meant that town with town both attack and send caller a pm about who gets it then it'd stack. CALLER, clarify?
However, I still do not agree with your advocation of complete chaos. Even if its only for Night 1. If we can't stack attacks, then this might be a little bit easier than I previously thought.
In any case, I don't expect to last the night, given my location.
|
I don't think you get it. You don't know if the province belongs to scum, and even if it does you can't stop them.
Get it now? This isn't about numbers yet. It's the point that if every townie defends the Scum just take neutral territories or pop you with whatever abilities they have. So you see HEY - that guy is scum!
Great now figure out who owns it. You can't.
Ok so everyone attack him at night! You can't.
You lose on both ends.
