I'm not disputing the game it just occurred in, since that would be silly. I'm just curious what other people think.
I would say let the hatter thing slide. If he gets mafia hit, or lynched the bombs go off regardless, so yes it would suck if he dies via modkill and people die for it, but only people die if bombs are placed. Completely different to the hidden lover idea.

While it is extremely(99%+) likely what is being discussed happened, we have not had it confirmed that it was the modkill that triggered the bombs and not the lynch. As such this discussion should probably be held off until the game completes and all roles are confirmed.
Just my thoughts, since you are talking about the concept instead of the game it is probably fine, but it is a thin line so I thought I would mention it.

It used to be the case that if you are modkilled as a hatter, your bombs don't go off. (I believe it used to be in the rules for some of the early games involving hatters.) I think this is the correct course because it feels too much like a strategic modkill otherwise. However, I totally understand not wanting to hurt the town even more by taking away precious KP.

At any rate I don't think making a whole forum exempt from post count is the way to go. Yes, there are plenty of posts in that forum that don't "deserve" to bump the post count, but enough do.

Because our sole purpose in participating in mafia is to raise our postcount, because that is what is really important. /sarcasm
Dont really see whats a big deal about post number, I mean at 1-200 it might indicate that those people are new and mods keep an eye on them, but 300- 5000 is all the same to me. Hell, people with more then 5k posts have been banned before. Anyway, its a silly notion based on a silly concept not meant to judge people on.

I totally did not like the part where you switched your vote from chaoser to Subversion as if you 'gave up' and accepted that you were going to die. You should've kept going and stuck to chaoser, someone probably would have also switched and you'd have lived
