I would like an anti-spam rule implimented in future games. Maybe something like you can post 10x per day beyond once each hour. That's plenty of room to chatter without allowing ridiculous/abusive spamfests, yes?

That is something I have used at least in the past. Post a ton to bury an important post. But it is a lot better when you have more than 1 person doing the posting.

You might be able to persuade a host to implement such a rule for a game or 2 as a test. I don't have any problem treating a rule like "no more than 5 posts per hour" the same way we treat the "no editing" rule (modkilling eventually but letting people screw up a few times) as long as the players all know about it before the game starts.

So I might be biased, since this just happened to me, but I wanted to open this up for discussion: Why is it that when a Mad Hatter is modkilled, his bombs detonate and kill people? It seems a rather harsh way to punish people for other people's inactivity.

I'm not disputing the game it just occurred in, since that would be silly. I'm just curious what other people think.

Modkills suck all around. With respect to this in particular, I would favor either all death effects go off when you die, or none. Should a lover be slain upon modkill death? DTA had said that wouldn't be cool. I think this falls under the same vein.

I could go either way on it though. It's probably worth clearly stating in the modkill rules whether death effects will occur upon modkill or not just for clarity and consistency.
