I would like to contest the ban request regarding my bad behavior. I believe that, had I been modkilled during D1, a ban would have been reasonably acceptable. However, iGrok proceeded to periodically post warnings to the general thread and never warned me. He says there were "many warnings" but he never said "blazinghand tone it down" at any point. THAT BEING SAID, I got the hint! I actually DID toned down my aggression a great deal during D2. In fact, I toned it down so much that when I was modkilled, I was under the assumption it was for writing a word in all caps (iGrok modkills for that as well) rather than my play. The fact that his "final warning" was in a thread discussing game types and not in LIII in particular bothers me. I accept that iGrok can run his games how he wants to run them. However, I believe his moderation was inconsistent. His "final warning" to me (or the thread, at least) wasn't even IN the LIII thread-- it was in some other thread, and I didn't see it until after the game. It's also worth noting that people didn't understand why the modkill happened and he warped the nature of gameplay. I didn't understand the modkill when it happened, and it was probably cause I was mad at the time it happened. But looking back it I still don't see it. It consisted of lol this kid, and a gif, and calling posts worthless. A lot worse happened from BH and other players throughout the game, iGrok gave a general warning to the thread and things toned down afterwards. Ottoxlol was doing the same sort of u mad bro response, without consequence. This conversation was tame compared to day 1, I feel like the modkill was more of an emotional reaction, that iGrok was pissed about everyone being so unmanner day 1, which is a legit concern. I know that it is up to the host, but unless its really bad, I feel like player specific warnings should be given out before modkills. As very different behaviour standards are held up in different games, so it is hard for the player to judge what is acceptable and what is not. I don't wanna take anyones sides, or make any one mad, but looking at the situation this is my opinion. TLDR; Warning not ban | ||

Regarding moderation, I agree that I should have been more consistent with my OP warning and banned you at the first instance of trouble. However, because I am generally a nice guy, I warned multiple times in thread. As I told you in PM, had you apologized for your actions I would have reconsidered. This is standard practice for me, as I care more that players learn to be better behaved than to exact punishment. However, despite your proclaimed "professionalism", you showed no remorse. There is a difference between playing aggressively and calling people worthless, posting gifs, saying things like "lol this kid" (twice in 30 minutes) and "come at me bro", statements which contribute nothing and have no purpose other than to piss people off. Your "playstyle" revolved around pissing people off and I warned the thread that bad behavior would be punished multiple times, including a warning that Mementoss had 1 minute to apologize or be modkilled. Clearly I was about to start modkilling players for bad behavior. So while yes, I was inconsistent in that I grew more strict as the game went on, I indicated this clearly in the thread. | ||

There will be no warnings for misbehavior, only forced replacement or modkill. He said in the rules he can modkill you when he wants, how he wants for whatever reason. You can't really complain. That said, I don't think games with weird rules like the above should be banlist approved. | ||
