It is ridiculous to be painting me or meeple based on his current inactivity. Meeple is, in general, an active poster. He hasn't been active on TL either which means he probably has some real life business to attend to.
Besides, why would he incriminate himself by being inactive this whole time especially if he's part of some unholy alliance with me and citi.zen? it wouldn't make any sense.
The end of Day 1 is a ways away, meeple will return and respond to all of this shit

yes, and thats' why if you look at my post, I state it as a possibility, not a fact

But, why?

yeah it is... It's late in NY, I'm gonna go sleep.
Dread Pirate Roberts (or, in this case, everyone on this thread): "goodnight Hobbes. We'll probably kill you in the morning"

Alright, I'm off to bed as well.
|
Better warn us off, else we are going to suspect you of going inactive.
Anyway, gonna go sleep on this too.

Jesus fucking christ... looks like I missed milking the drama cow

Ok time to start responding to some of this stuff. And I didn't realize I had to tell you guys that I have a fucked up sleep schedule. It totally varies from day to day and I just woke up from like a 12 hour sleep starting at 1pm and will probably be up most of the night. For future reference, if you're keeping track of when I sleep, I'm in kingston so it's 1:30am here.

t_co, your accusations that rely on a few sentences that the doctor said (some were typos, none incriminated him in any way) are starting to look more petty by the minute. Please, refer to my post at the bottom of page 22 (if you are lazy, here)
I wouldn't concern yourself with most of it Meeple, i doubt anyone suspects you based on t_co's accusations.

If DrH and meeple flip red in the end, I'm going to join every new mafia game and run for mayor.
|
All you guys had to do to stop the drama was to let me get elected. Was it worth it, Doctor Meeples? Now we have either a mafia victory via crippled town or mafia victory via having sheriff/mayor in their pocket. Instead we could have had me in that position actually forming a coherent strategy to lead the town the victory.

I don't understand why people are saying me and DH are in cahoots, since alot of the time I've questioned what he's stated, about the ghote quote etc. I think people are overlooking the possibility that we're just thinking in the same vein.
I don't know what t_co is going for, but he's being totally irrational about this, so if he is green/blue he needs to get his head on right and start coming up with arguements that can help the game, but as for lynching him, there's no proof/suspicion, so that'd be kinda pointless.

If that is your idea of mega strong support then I don't know what to say. Just because we were all active in the beginning doesn't even remotely imply that we had prior coordination, what the fuck. It implies we are in the same time-zone maybe.
I don't have intense trust in meeple, citi.zen, or anyone besides myself. But I can't vote for myself, so I voted for meeple since he was the most active aside from me at the time. I think you are reading way too hard into this, but you seem pretty set on the idea that me and meeple are in some unholy alliance. I think its obvious to the entire town how you and meeples have been back-to-back for a while. Why is his run for mayor given such a free pass, even given his inactivity currently, compared to my run for mayor which seems to run into extreme opposition from you?
Seriously man? My inactivity??? I post on here friggin all the time... literally whenever I have free time. It's questionable whether or not I even have a life. It's funny because some people would say I'm too active at TL. If there's any extreme opposition its because you're being overly aggressive and pointing the finger too much without any solid proof. You're gonna try to lynch me because I agreed with Doctor H on a couple things. Do I fit any of the clues? Why do we even have clues if you're going to ignore them?
To be honest, I'm not completely sold on Hobbes, I have a stronger hunch about keit and his Cookiemonster, but you know what? Nothing fits the clues perfectly, and if I'm thinking of this objectively, which is a good practise every once in a while. I would say that Hobbes can fit the data better, even though my hunch is pointing another way. So yeah, guess what I'm supporting DH again, but he's right, that's where the clues tell us to go. I'm not going to start changing my mind because someone is accusing me of being Mafia.

What's you coherent strategy? Lynch everyone who agrees with each other?

And let me add that I was sincerely trying to come up with strategies the town could use.
Like how the town gains very minimal benefits from having a town mayor but huge harms from a mafia mayor.
Even if I become mayor I would've still called for myself to be lynched if people suspected me.
And now we have a mayor whom, even if the town doesn't suspect them, the town doesn't trust them very much either, and who, unfortunately, will not be able to coordinate strategy with the mayor.
The problem now is that if we don't trust the mayor then he or she is better off dead, since the individual power of the mayor is his/her 3 votes, which only grow really powerful in the end stages of the game when the total number of votes is less.
And in the end stages, since the bodyguards are dead by then, then the IF mayor is town, he will undoubtedly not survive long and be of little use, and IF mayor is mafia, mayor essentially can cast 2 extra mafia lynch votes which pushes the mafia GG 4 dead bodies closer (and depending on KP, that could be 2 or even 3 nights forward of where it could've been.)
|
If the town does trust the mayor that's good. This is a game of deceit, you shouldn't trust people. I don't trust DH, I only voted for him because he looks at the clues... and if he is Mafia, the second he steps off his detective work and goes hypothetical he become suspect.
