Born in the USA. Funnily enough if you read the lyrics it's shit talking the US. Everyone thinks it's a patriotic song but it's not.

Rubio typically plays behind Calderon, Sada, Navarro, Llull... he doesnt get much playing time in this team. Would have been an upgrade over Rodriguez though.

They needed a good distributing guard. USA might not have won. WTF xD You don't think Rubio would have made a difference?
USA was missing players two obv.

Only thing left for Bron to do this year is to get his hairline back

Shame. you know that international basketball has increased a ton since '92, right? The difference in skill between the US and Spain is not 10 points and an even game for 35 minutes. And you know it. I would not be celebrating this, especially after all the debate between the Dream Teams. 92 team would kick the ass of this one, any time any place. The dream team had bigs, thats it. Original dream team would have a hell of a time keeping up with our PG's, lebron, durant, and melo. You think Barkley is going to guard lebron? Or Malone? Lol Original dream team was full of ISO players, id love to see them try that against spain today. Are you crazy? MJ would pummel this spanish side all by himself. Good luck with that. This is one game, anyone can have an off game. If you are depending on one guy you are in DEEP shit.
Pretty sure the guy is right. Mb not like that, but MJ + team game would mean 30+ difference. This US team has no team game, just 3/4 incredible players that score from any point in the court, especially KD. When you have 40%+ in 3throws, then you stomp. When not, then it could be even. That didn't happen with the Dream Team, with better bigs and still having these kind of players.

No, no difference. Rodriguez and Calderon did a pretty good job, trust me.

That was quite a second half to close out a great game between those two powerhouse teams.
GG Spain. Pau I love you.

You think the original dream team had a team game?
Are you on drugs? This team has played together for way longer than the 92 team did. The NBA today is far more like international basketball than it was in 92. The NBA in the 90's was predominately ISO play.

I'm just arguing against this guy saying the dream team would've had a hard time against this spanish side with ISO play. That's ridiculous. Even if MJ was off his game, you had other superstars to step up. No way they all go 'off' at the same night.

If the Dream Team played this Spain team Charles Barkley would have physically assaulted Rudy.

Obviously US would still win, the whole team is full of stars, just wondering.

Its not shit-talking the usa, its shittalking the vietnam war.... ? Maybe not US culture, but it's definitely shittalking the US whether it be government or just generally the fact that they had to fight a war for their country that they didn't believe in. Otherwise it wouldn't have had "born in the USA" for lyrics...

Sweet year for Lebron, adds a Gold medal along with his ring :D

I wonder why everyone hates on Fernandez, but no one mentions the finger in the eye (ala Mourinho vs Vilanova) from LJ to Gasol. Not the slightest apologize, that's a superstar.

Yes it is protesting the us involvement in vietnam, a decision made by the government, not the people.
