Wait... Everyone in the NA scene was pissing on CLG so much going into MSI that TLA was the only team willing to scrim vs. CLG and prepare them for the tournament?

Everyone else went to Korea to Bootcamp for Summer Split.

TSM, TL, IMT, and C9 are in Korea right now. I'm pretty sure even the lower level teams are, even like RNG.

boot camps are such a waste of money. Unless they plan on staying there for an extended period of time and do scrims with the Koreans nonstop and compete with them they will always be behind.

I'm getting tired of hearing how players go to Korea for a month and two. It's an experience but not enough.

I think it makes sense because it is a vacation where they experience something totally new, but actually learn something semi useful.

Its a waste of money, but psychologically, it is good for production on the whole. The players reset twice, and are practicing the whole time, instead of not practicing and reseting once.

Its efficient I think, but it depends on what kind of practice you can create.

I still think LoL practice in general right now is kind of shit. Most teams just play full games. Terribly inefficient. I bet 90% of a teams practice regimen would be better if they had drills and scenarios they could practice over and over. Teamfights they could practice over and over. If only playable replay technology existed...

Or like... a sandbox mode. Nah that shit is way too unfeasible to ever have in this day and age.

I recall that riot didn't want to create any kind of sandbox so that player having opportunity to practice this way wouldn't be in advantage.

And they already admitted that logic is retarded.

They just don't care, would rather makes skins for the sweet sweet money.

I think its dumb that like Regi or Hotshot havn't anti'd up and paid for this shit.

Also - come to think of it:

The last time a region won RIOT sanctioned tournament:
Korea: 2016
China: 2015
Taiwan: 2012
Europe: 2011
NA: N/A <- as the name suggests

It seems to me, that if you are going to give away a Trundle toplane, you need to punish the lack of waveclear with like Lucian/Azir/Graves/Ekko + Diving support or something similar. He was 1v1ing Ekko early on with only Tiamat while 40 CS behind the Ekko (mid). This has always been the issue vs. Trundle, and usually you would have something that clears top fast (even if he loses duels) like Renekton/Shyvana (IMO topvery well Maokai/Ekko can do this ) while your 4 man sieges mercilessly.

but lets see if NA LCS can really improve for worlds with all the preferable treatment compared to EU (Bo3 / timeslots / money / import players) until then, 2 semifinalists at worlds >>>>> one finalist at MSI.

Because last season has anything to do with this season. Europe is shit right now and if anything na teams will be better next spilt.

Where have I heard that before? Oh yeah, last year, before Worlds. See how that turned out?
