It just didn't feel like it was going to do much. Similar damage to Keith throughout the entire game. Fenix was the real problem. Did less than 50% the damage ot Froggen, and not sure he got any huge stuns either. True. Not only that but letting Froggen have Corki when you know he's hot on him seems silly. I am still looking at that Kayle ban. I know it was targetting KFO, but it just doesn't seem right.
Throughout the season I would argue that TL and C9 has had the worst pick/ban phases. They just do picks that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Kfo is a Kayle player who has been, to good success, playing Kayle lately on a patch where Kayle is strong. The ban is fine.

I just read that Matt is 0-4 with Alistar. im surprised that Locodoco not going for comfort champions, where he can give Lux to Fenix and Bard to Matt.

I know it's fine. It just seems like letting the ace get his hot champ feels wrong thats all.
That's another thing that got me too. Matt plays Ali a lot and does nothing with it.

Not like Froggen can't play a dozen of other champs. Banning LeBlanc and not picking a Corgi though on a blue side looked pretty suspicious.
But TL drafting. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Echo Fox has a legit shot at playoffs now, I think.

Well, let's see.
Echo Fox is at 4-7, while TL is at 5-6. Assuming that top-5 is pretty much locked there, let's compare.
Echo Fox remaining games: TIP, TSM, IMT, DIG, CLG, C9, REN. Liquid's remaining games: IMT, TIP, TSM, CLG, NRG, DIG, C9.
So after tomorrow it's likely to become 5-7 for both with 1-1 in the tiebreaker. Assuming that both lose to Immortals/Cloud 9 and beat Dignitas/TIP, that's 6-9 for Echo Froggens and 7-10 for TL.
While TSM/CLG are pretty beatable opponents, the key might be that Echo Froggens have a Renegades game left in the last week, while Liquid needs to face an NRG. So honestly, looking at that, we can legitimately see a team with 7-11 record entering the playoffs and 8 wins probably guarantee you the playoffs at this point.
Okay then. But yea, Foxes gotta beat at least one of TSM/CLG probably to take the spot or pray for C9 to play a Bunny against them. Still an uphill battle, but definitely doable.
If only Ember Foxes hadn't thrown a 10k lead against Liquid though, but alas.

What's more crazy is, imagine if they had Froggen for all those games...

I knew that hiring Locodoco as a coach won't be anything good, lol.
Also why in the earth would you put Fenix on a goddamn Syndra? T_t

T_t From what I saw on TSM, Loco always tries to draft meta champions regardless of whether or not his players can actually play those champions at an LCS/competitive level. IMHO, he sees in Korea what is the ideal compositon/champions and he heavily tries to get players to play those ideal champions. This unfortunately doesn't work for all players, and sometimes it might be better to draft towards the players' strengths.

I'm sorry. Is there really a guy who's name is just "Matt"? Somehow that is worse than "Steve"
I await next year's terrible jungler "Toby"

he looks a lot less confident whenever he plays the champion i've seen so many times where he hesitates back and forth unable to decide what action to take
there were like 2 fights today where he just got pounded 100-0 without using a single spell because he couldnt decide whether he'd try to run away or engage

and bjergsen makes me sad. hes had a bad season. I always get disappointed by Bjergsens LB. Just don't feel like he does enough on the champ compared to other mids playing LB. He seems to go in at weird times and use his CDs on weird targets. Feels like bjergsen's play was mostly fine this game, even great at times; liftlift seemed to be the weak link, but it's easy to blame him when he's playing an immobile champ against a comp designed to kill him
The comp was not designed to kill him which was why it was so bad that he died like that. He had almost no threats to watch out for and walking into barrels and soraka Es and building like that is just not excusable.

Damn that C9 comeback was amazing, at one point I started fast forwarding the vod because I thought they're donezo

While rewatching C9 vs TSM, I have to question TSM's decision not go baron around 35-36 minute mark. If C9 tries to attack you, you just disengage as C9 barely has any engage and you have Poppy/Gragas. Meanwhile top minions will kill nexus towers (as inhib is open). And if they don't, you get a free baron and game should 99% be over.
I assume this was a Yellowstar shotcall as Bjergsens shotcalls (from the brief mic check) have been more engagementbased/quick reactions-stuff whereas YS is responsible for the very overall macro play.
