There will be a second exodus after this championship though. I don't know how long Korea can hold while losing 20 of its top players each year. Eventually Korea will fall to Chinese money.

Also China might be less inclined to buy another pack of players given that they bought top talent and performed even worse. Unless - of course - they want to turn LPL into LCK@China but I imagine fans in China won't be very happy about it.

Eventually Korea will fall to Chinese money. The exodus last year only occurred due to enforcement of the one-team-per-organization rule leaving a massive number of players teamless. Money alone wasn't enough of an impetus for it to happen--on an individual level, some players might have been enticed to leave, but the massive scale would not have been possible without forced restructuring of teams thanks to Riot Korea. I question the possibility of another major exodus without massive restructuring of LCK again. A foreign team seems appealing when your team just booted you off their main roster and the alternative is finding/forming an unsponsored amateur team, but players with a stable spot on a current team have much less reason to leave.

And Europe isn't really that attractive to Koreans, considering that NA/CN have big streaming culture.
