I still think they played the last 3-4 fights quite badly. For me this is a live report, where i write what i see, not a thread to review LGD over the last years. :p

It's actually pretty interesting by LGD. Sacrificing global gold for early dragon and giving imp prime conditions to bully Xuan by leaving him alone.

I almost got last season finals flashback. Then Pyl won the fight.
Nice.

Another surrender, after 24 minutes this time.

So yea, 2 sub-25 minute surrenders and glorious throw. LGD-EDG might be prequel to Worlds finals.

Holy shit, imp, mercy.
HOLY SHIT WEILESS.

Looking like another sub 25 minute surrender.
When in doubt, let GODV play Diana.
That was brutal. Yesterday VG looked so strong, today they got mowed over by LGD like a bunch of bronzies. The difference in skill is just absurd.

22 minute surrender, jesus. VG good at forfeiting.

2 sub-23 minute surrender, one is barely over 23 minutes. That's what happens when your carry trinity is on fire. Lol that Acorn and Mata interactions, cuties.
Also Flame suffered his first loss in LPL playoffs tonight, 2-1 all time now.
LGD-Snake and VG-iG now, if VG beats iG, LGD or Snake will face QG.

This team needs some LCS "coaching", surrendering a play off game when 5k gold behind at 25 minutes is unacceptable

It's a seeding match and not a playoff game.

I'm sorry. Way behind, but is Rumble/Rek/Viktor/Trist/Ali really better scaling than Maokai/Grag/Azir/Sivir/Annie?
Guess it doesnt matter b/c VG is crushing it, but still, seems like a BS statement, and they are running with it.

Both those comps are pretty similar in terms of scaling, Id say Trist slightly overfavors Sivir late game in damage but Sivir has more utility obviously with her ult and Maokai is slightly more useful than Rumble since he can soak damage unless Rumble can land godlike equalizer.

My thoughts are similar, plus IMO Gragas is better than Rek Sai and Ali a bit better than Annie. But also, just the teamcomp as a whole one had pretty sick engage while the other has a pretty hard time engaging especially through Azir's zones.

Blah also WTF LGD. Lets try to pick a Nunu then dive without cooldowns onto Ryze/Vayne with lulu and braum support. Its like styling, except, you know, not stylish even if it works.

So even though VG got crushed by LGD, I'm expecting them to be slightly favored against iG. However I could also see Rookie and Kakao mowing over mid, Peng or Hetong are a gaping hole in the VG line up. Hope they field Endless instead of Xuan as well.
I'm also biased as fuck because I want LGD to play EDG in the finals, and I want to see LGD vs QG as well.

Xuan is significantly better than Endless :|

Not when he tumbles into enemy teams. If he does his best, then I will agree, but he also has some terrible moments.
