Shit week except for IM vs Jin Air. Somebody is getting exposed that match, besides that I'm anti-hype for najin because they'll play peanut/rain for anarchy and ggoong/watch for GE because lolnajin
Speaking of Anarchy, Why hasn't any KR Org bother to sponsor them since they have no other org sponsoring them, coaches or even a gaming house for the matter?. Considering they are in LCK now, an organisation would usually scoop to sponsor them .

Maybe organizations are waiting to see how they perform? No point in sponsoring the team to watch it get wrecked every week.

I think it's ended for this season
from liquibet thread: "Current season will last until the summer season starts. If we have multiple persons on the first three ranks then the season will be extend until we have a top three"
top 3 is already decided
and fuck I just realized had I voted right for EDG vs SKT I would've gotten mousepad =((
Yup. This season is ended, we're just waiting for R1CH to reset.
lol, just imagine how fast this game would be over if ohq ran a regular adc, like jinx.
WTF? lol 2nd item QSS? rofl. OHQ plz, the only thing you're worried about is Gnar, which is super easy to deal with when you're that far ahead. Just get PD >.>
On May 20 2015 17:48 wei2coolman wrote: How the fuck has Najin not steamrolled this game into a victory already?
Najin is science. Also this comp loses so much whenever anarchy finds anything with the TF lucian, it's a weirdly functional build.
On May 20 2015 17:48 739 wrote: That was a pretty good teamfight from Anarchy, especially that Janna ult + Hurricane and Rek'Sai knockup, almost ace there.
Pure saved it big time, if he didn't get that three man knock up after ggoong died anarchy could have chased for at least a kill onto duke. Maybe more

Jokes on you, they're gunna win this game. :D
You know what you should do as Vayne? Get QSS 2nd item, and still getting caught out in teamfight. lmao if he just went damage build he'd just kill everything before they could touch him.
Nice Ali knockup, but there was no one there to follow up on Lucian lol. Ohq couldn't do much, except maybe flash away earlier.
Can't believe Najin is losing against a Challenger team, their roster is so good, but they can't do anything with it. Still think they'll win the game though.
On May 20 2015 17:53 Caiada wrote: PSA: Vayne sucks dick; stop trying to style.
PSA: vayne sucks, but this game is not proof of that. Vayne out of laning phase just fine this game wihtout getting punished, problem is Ohq is top tier shit, with genja level build order.

? problem with triforce isnt laning lol the damage just falls off compared to an IE while both are pretty much the same price
you might as well just play corki if you want to go for a midgame powerspike
The thing is, Sangyoon also went back with 5k worth of gold, and he purchased triforce.... Just get the IE at that point... you've just skipped the powerspike difference between TF and IE... Same also applying to Ohq, if he had just gone IE+zeal, or BT+zeal, would have been much stronger than this botrk+QSS trash he went. lmao ohq getting bc? or tf?

Snowflower really good, has he ever played before? he was on point al lgame.
He has to be so careful though, there comes a point where Vayne eats through Lucian like butter. He might be able to burst her down with a double crit, but if Vayne lives even with a sliver of health he's mincemeat vs Ghostblade MS and passive. And the frontline of Najin is a load of low CD CC, the dumbest thing he could do is be between a Vayne and Maokai.
I too think Snowflower played well, Anarchy is a pretty good challenger team, and if they really don't have any support then their performance is mind boggling.

Well if sanyoon had just done standard build order it wouldn't of been as big of crit variance it'd he went deep
I like Anarchy's comp: the initiation from Annie/Eve/Mao can be brutal if it catches more than one person. Also, Eve is a rare pick these days, she really shows how good teams can coordinate against her map presence.
Mickey needs to land more charms though, Ggoong is not going down without a fight.
Lol damn I just realized how bad the matchups for the first day are. Maybe should kick it off with duel of last seasons finalists to get everybody in the mood.
Seeing Mickeygod in LCK is just weird to me lol. I feel like Najin's issue is since they have so many players, getting any type of synergy for a whole team is difficult. I think maybe it was an interview with Rapidstar? or some other retired progamer who said these days teams switch players so often it's difficult to get the type of synergy you would see in the older teams who had to stick with the same 5 players for longer periods of time. I dunno, inherantly I don't really like rotating rosters unless it's just 1 position.
Also, anybody have tips for fixing your sleeping schedule other than pulling an all-nighter? Mine is completely fucked up atm.
Najin wtf, what is this team. Anarchy looked good... for a Challenger team. Najin is supposed to stomp them, not lose 1vs1 in mid lane and take horrible team fights.
They were all 10/10 on the hilarity scale, it wasn't a wrecking but it was amazingly dumb. Najin pretty much threw themselves at anarchy over and over to mixed results.
Our team’s jungler ‘lira’ hyung goes and schedules scrims for us, then we practice during those times from our homes.
Q. You don’t have a coach or a head coach but your picks and bans were pretty good, how did you come to prepare them?
We spent about an hour yesterday on a focus session where all the teammates shared their opinions. We worried a lot today in the stadium over whether we should ban Cassiopeia or LeBlanc, I asked for a LeBlanc ban saying that I’ll try beating Cassiopeia with my Ahri. I’m glad the match worked out well for us.

Is papasmithy going to Korea to cast with monte? Also monte doing all his stuff with thorin, and his other stuff all while casting all 4 days is pretty brutal.

Papasmithy is the new OGN 'global broadcaster' or something along those lines. AFAIK he is no longer casting LPL.

ah okay, thanks for the clarification. Sort of sucks, I WANT MORE DOA!
Excited that papasmithy is going to cast ogn but sad he won't doing the lpl anymore If Anarchy pulls another upset, I'm going to be really questioning what other teams are doing lol.

cj sandbagging with vayne.
anarchy's teamfighting is surprisingly crisp. sangyoon is pretty suspect in lane imo, unable to punish the vayne lane twice already. snowflower's really good outside of lane though imo.
mickey's god ability to apply mappressure without losing farm, and ability to go hyphy is really huge.

yeah, they should be punishing this vyane pick way earlier in the game. it's really suspect when they're both coming out of lane equal.
sangyoons ability to teamfight is really solid though, new cpt jack?
LMAO, Sangyoon plz, you just E'd into a fucking Sivir, when you're going tears first item in lane. I know we were criticizing your passive laning phase, but plz.
On May 21 2015 16:37 wei2coolman wrote: SANGYOON. WHY ARE YOU SUCH A FUCKING PUSSY.
Why is it so hard for Anarchy to hold on to hemoplague until they're actually going to fight... why use hemo and disengage? lol.
His positioning is terrible, that one dragon fight he ran at CJ, then hesitated and started going back, and then engaged again, thus doing no damage besides killing Thresh (I think he would've lived if he ran after the kill). And his Ezreal game was lackluster too, don't play the champion if you can't live long enough to throw some Mystic Shots.
Anarchy showed promise, but they still lack in some departments. I like how they turn on the aggression, but they just got outrotated for objectives at times. Vs Najin that wasn't too visible because Najin played horrible (for what they should be performing at).
Also, wtf is this Vayne play? The last time it was a good champion was S4 Winter, and then only when SKT was rolling over people with sweet Vayne towerdives.
Can we adopt the Starcraft style voting for recommended games? Example. Since between all of the regions, there will probably be close to 24 hours worth of games per day.

We have recommended games for LCS and big tourneys. Won't work for LCK/LPL/LMS since there are not enough people posting at LR threads, so polls would have 3-4 votes at max.

Starcraft´s so boring, except when my boy Piglet plays it.
pls the only reason that game was so long was because marin wanted more farm zzzzz
also watching marin's play in those teamfights was impressive, really patient for him to choose the right time to go in with his ult and choose the right targets
Am I the only one who gets legitimately annoyed by these 'little things' that Riot does, like enforcing a 3 letter tag on fucking everything? Last week Sbenu were still able to carry the tag 'SBENU + playername', now they had to change it to SSB. If we assume that most people will look at the players during the game, I could imagine this being an issue for sponsors. The ingame tag 'Jin Air' was forced to change into 'JAG', 'NaJin' into 'NJE', 'Samsung' into 'SSG' etc. Isn't it much more valuable for a sponsor to have your full company name on every player during the game, instead of just at the top (if you're lucky) or at international Riot events not even that? SKT and KT are the lucky ones here, as their company names fit the Riot fetish of having 2-3 letter tags for everything and anything. I wouldn't be surprised if for their next match IM will have had to change their tag to LZ.
On May 23 2015 19:00 wei2coolman wrote: Probably a limitation of # of characters able in names. So 3 letters keep it short enough to first most names in.
Two days ago they were still called 'SBENU + name' and before Riot changed Champions into LCK, everyone was using their normal company tag for 2+ years, without problems.
So, uh... Pray losing the game by himself with that "Sivir rushing 1v5 bait" then staying bot to "save the t2" while they're losing top t2, t3 and inhib?

They were a team assembled (imo) for the sole purpose of winning the OGN Spring Split (close, but no they got Hooned) and maintaining their position in the league after that (I don't think they have much chance of falling out of OGN next season). But its a low-upside team (analogous to if C9 had kept Hai for the summer), so if they finish top-3 again in summer it will be a poor indicator for Korean strength.
KT look good. Najin look really inconsistent... Don't see them doing well in this meta with Goong.
SKT will dominate this split. 4 titles sounds pretty good to me. Wonder if Faker will play this week, or only easyhoon considering fakers currently in China
I'm a bit sceptical of SKT winning this season. Definitely one of the best teams but Idk... 56 minute game against SBENU...like what the fuck? Yeah sure it was the first game and everything but that team is worse than Samsung. I think this season's playoffs will be the same except maybe KT will take that 4/5th spot and NaJin might take the other. I think SKT will win the regular season but fall to CJ/KT. JAG looked really damn strong in their first game against a team that never knew how to play LoL before, yeah IM. They actually have players now! But yeah KT/CJ on the rise. CJ should have won Spring, game 4 they choked so fucking bad against SKT, even though MaRin cleared the minions, they were so tanky that they could have just piled on the nexus, wtf can a tree do with 20+ second death timers. So yeah I'm calling either nerves or a fixed match there.
problem with kt or cj winning is that there has not been any talent infusion to warrant raising expectations, especially cj.
kt is interesting if they could catch skt in one of their dumb moments, but as an aggressive team, kt is still less of a team in the aggression game vs skt with faker, and skt is a bit too solid in a series format to lose to them.

Forget this, just saw him on Bangs stream with a "I <3 shanghi" teeshirt haha. Quick trip. + hes streaming now
Not sure what to make about the SSB (lol) game. Seems like when they showed them respect, they just stomped them. Or maybe it was because Bengod was in the game
On May 26 2015 16:54 739 wrote: So as predicted, KOO Tigers got exposed, not gonna finish TOP3 in this split, I guess.
Yeah. Unlike EU korea can recognise what they need to in order to expose other teams. JAG has done a very good job of coming back after a 11 game loss streak? Correct me if Im wrong but it's somethinig like that. And yeah, with kt/cj, we will have to see how the season plays out. Definitely think they can take SKT to 4 or eve 5 games but, blind pick benefits SKT soooo much despite faker getting countered by the entire EDG team at MSI finals. Have to remember they had an entire comp built around countering faker, and he still did really well. Watching that game, I don't think anything has changed regarding faker's LB, just ban it. And even though EDG won the game, if that game went for another 10 minutes SKT would win.
