This is probably why we start with Fnatic vs TSM and end with TSM vs SK Telecom. Except if you miss the start your going to get massively spoiled

It's about catering to "Late enough for the live audience to show up" and "Early enough to finish before the venue workers get grouchy about wanting to go home already"

Lol, Monte is such a joke.
He doesn't get that TSM are favorites for the whole tournament.

I wouldn't be surprised if Fnatic won opening match against TSM actually.

I mean, Bo1, sure it can happen. But rather the subtext of that tweet was sort of that TSM fans should lower their expectations because in the mind of Montecristo, TSM is only a slight favorite over Fnatic, and not on the level of EDG and SKT. I hope he articulates that on broadcast so that I get to watch him eat his words when his beloved SKT crashes and burns and TSM wins the whole tournament.

I really think you're finding subtext where there is none. Upsets are more likely for any team in Bo1s.

I think you are just reading way too much into that in order to be insulted. Monte just said literally what you are admitting. In a bo1 anyone can win, even a lesser team.
|
How many salty TSM fans do you need to see before you realize Goat is limping to find an insult to his team's pride in everything he sees.
|
Not really, Monte even has admitted on Summoning Insight before that he prefers his insults to be subtle. Given the TSM hype recently on Reddit and Monte's penchant for criticizing the community along with Thoorin for thinking things he disagrees with or views as stupid, really not much of a stretch to see that subtext.

Monte is pretty grudging in his respect for TSM due to the fact that Reginald basically helped ruin his coaching career. Also, Monte said before MSI that SKT is the best team in the world and that Korea is going to win, so were TSM to win SKT, there's going to be a lot of salt.

I'm going to root for the foreign hope AHQ.

His coaching career can't really exist anyway. He doesn't want to telecommute and nobody will be willing to pay him more than OGN and give him the reign to discipline that he needs.
People complaining about times need to get over it. No matter where it is, somebody is getting fucked over. Some times it's you, sometimes it isn't.

Love all the hype tsm is getting, maybe it's the first time since Iem katowice 2013 that a western team can actually challenge the asian gods but anything lower than top2 should be a disappointment for them.
Fnatic on the other hand can play with no pressure since they are the underdog, although it would be embarassing to not even make the knockoutstages in case AHQ can upset.

This tournament will probably reveal how weak europe still is.
