C9 would easily be top 5 in China. You make big statements lol :O Off the top of my head, teams I would put above C9 in CN are: 1. EDG (duh) 2. LDG (GODV is a god lol, and Impin ain't easy) 3. iG (Rookie and Kakao don't go down easy) 4. VG (I personally think Dandy is better jungler than Kakao) And then Snake on a good day, OMG brute force their way to a win, and I would dare to say this new WE already proved themselves in their playoff debut. Heck, I'd even say King would stand a chance, and M3 too. C9 lost convincingly to TSM, it was not a series on the edge of a knife, they did well at times but they also showed lackluster play and TSM took advantage of it. The 4 teams I mentioned at the top would crush C9 in a heartbeat, I don't see C9 being better in any aspect of the game compared to them, maybe rotations compared to VG.

Lol what? EDG/LGD/iG/VG/Snake/WE all above C9 easily. Heck, even OMG will roflstomp every lane despite having 0 strategy.

There is no increased competition in NA, only TSM being stronger. But TSM has always been better than C9 so. C9 looked like a challenger team at IEM.

I don't know why you jump at every opportunity to bash Chinese esports, and this time by extrapolating information from a PR blogpost, which revealed absolutely nothing about the scrim results if you could read the original post. Please learn how metaphores work. Saying EDG is the C9 of China doesn't say they're equal, especially when he quantifies the comparison later. BTW, it could very comfortably be stated that the level of China is a joke compared to EDG.

We agree that this tsm is stronger then worlds right? I mean world tsm beat everyone in scrim except for ssw. Tsm arent going to lose vs skt s+ bengi. They arent going lose vs chokelove and mini-blue.

TSM basically roflstomped C9 in 3 games out of 4, and they could've very well won game 1. SKT roflstomped GE 3-0. Seems like the best team in a region tends to be better than the competition. I picked on Azarkon because of his notoriously well-known bias against Chinese esports in Dota 2 community, not that I hate C9 or anything. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

You know C9 aren't playing in this tournament so we have no idea what they will do, and I'm pretty sure you don't believe in what you're saying (since you had offered to ban bet that TSM would place fourth) so please stop with the hyperboles as a form of argument. I don't agree with LimpingGoat's fanaticism over TSM and North America either, but that isn't an excuse to conjure up ridiculous straw men arguments. If you don't agree with someone's opinions and you aren't successful in reasoning with them, then you always have the option of ignoring them and interacting with other people instead. If you think someone is wrong on the internet, and they are steadfast in that opinion, then you're not going to convince them otherwise so don't get all frustrated in arguing and end up making meaningless posts. On May 06 2015 22:56 Carnivorous Sheep wrote: Hey guys let's tone down the hyperbole, already too old to be funny satire, and other shitposting for now. You can gloat when the team you support wins, but for now, let's not spam the thread. Thanks. Just re-emphasizing this. It's fine to have strong opinions one way or the other and to try to argue them in whatever logic you conform to, but blatantly poor-excuse-for-extremist-parody will get you mod actioned. LR threads are a place to cheer for your team, have fun, post about epic plays being made, and make ban bets. If you disagree with someone, it's fine to argue fanatically and illogically and spread some shittalk, but that isn't an excuse to make hyperbolic low-content posts meant only to instigate or be otherwise non-constructive.

I thought he was joking, I mean the list of Chinese midlaners makes no sense, you can't put GODV alongside Xiye and swimming-in-money-no responsibility Dade. And Worlds was ages ago, EDG looks stronger than Royal ever did, and I would even say they're better than the old OMG. Basing assumptions on ancient scrim rumors seems strange.

Then Faker plays in playoffs, feeds the first two games and has to be bailed out by MVP HOON.

I don't know whether SKT T1 BW fraud-fanboism or "China has been shafted and unrecognized way too long on the international League of Legends stage"-fanboism are the stronger motivators here. I guess as long as TSM doesn't finish top 2 I'll feel vindicated, since my top NA team has now shifted to Liquid (although I was pretty happy when TSM dethroned C9 at the end of last season).
