Guys, if TSM were just in the easier group they would make it out for sure.

While I agree with what you are saying in general, this is just day one so far. Keep in mind in the last international tournament Korea bombed out and TSM won.

though tbf, skt isn't proof of that, since all their players are veterans.

well if it holds through worlds we'll get a better idea

it'll depend on 2nd and 3rd place korean teams, and how they do.

CJ still shits the bed in full tilt poker, and GE looks like shit vs SKT.

Yeah, bjerg forced faker out of lane 3 times, taking all his summoners, and got a cs lead. Yet for some reason he couldn't apply any pressure on the map. It was pretty baffling. I mean if Faker can just lose lane yet get fed free kills while his other lanes win, he can just blow summoners to live all day and keep bjergs lead managable.

They also need to bring down rek'sai. They keep over doing it with the manaless regen champions and ratios when they have 7 skills (AHEMLEESIN).

Stop being bjerg apologists, he was losing by a wave in the very early game due to Faker not missing any cs while he kept trying to push the lane (whilst missing)to force Faker to farm under the turret and then Faker was able to roam and still be ahead in cs, like wtf? Picking ziggs just killed any small chance TSM ever had, it was pretty much a cop out in my books.
So... what that make you? Good? You're not good. You just know how to hide, how to lie

Yeah, I'm not making judgments yet. Just saying that were this to continue, then it shows H1.

True. That being said I think it holds up, idk who TSM would be scrimming after LCS ended, a loto f the teams lost players and a lot of them went on vacation, like as soon as the season is over a lot of LCS teams pack it in apparently and don't start practicing again until a week or so before the next split starts. That and you heard stories about Piglet where he'd be practicing in solo q many more hours than the rest of TL etc.

Actually, I'd put my money on a Team Liquid with time to mesh together (aka SUMMER SPLIT B O Y S) to represent NA.

that's what makes faker good though. he's always relevant. NO MATTER WHAT.
His laning in 1v1 is really good, but that's not what makes him a god at this game.

Yeah, but I prefer to do actual analysis, not just go crazy with preconceived notions.

In both losses Bjergsen was completely nonexistent and only salvaged some KDA after the game was over already. Santorin is a problem but Bjergsen did not play well at all.

Bjergsen actually did fine in lane. He was up like 20 cs at one point, blowing Faker's ghost + flash once and forcing Faker out of lane soon after. He actually had pressure mid, but the rest of his got destroyed, especially Santorin. Bjergsen lost pressure after Bengi ganked mid, which happens when your jungler is non-existant.

yeah, 20 cs, when faker was all over the jungle grabbing kills.
lol.
20 cs doesn't mean shit if yo udon't leave midlane.

By then Bjergsen's team got really rekt. Bjergsen did fairly well, he did pressure Faker well, almost killing Faker at one point and blows Faker's ghost and flash.

TSM played so reckless. Dyrus on full tilt and feed mode. The salt is just so visible.

Santorin is really exposed as a jungler. He failed ganks in bot lane, very hard since it's the tankiest bot ever - Ali and Urgot lol. He needs to go top or mid. Top to protect Dyrus. Mid to help pressure Faker.

Faker didn't carry this game. The biggest differentials: Marin >>>>> Dyrus + Bengi >>>>> Santorin.

based on the fact that incarnation is literally living with C9 right now I think it's very unlikely they choose a different mid

Limpinggoat - you have until I go to sleep which could be anytime from 5 minutes to an hour from now, to make a statement before your 1 week ban or if you want to recant/barter with your counterparts.

the problem is korea faced 2 of the favorites besides them today and beat them very convincingly.
I just can't see SKT 'bombing' out against ahq and fnatic.

I also don't see those results changing if it were bo3 or 5 instead of 1

Not even faker is relevant when his team is down in all lanes and feeding every other minute. Last year proved this.

Wtf are you talking about? Faker's first kill in the jungle was because Santorin was in Blue side jungle vs 3 people from SKT. What can Bjergsen do about that? Run in to die?

Right after Santorin died, TSM opts into a 3v4 bot while Bjergsen pushes Faker out of lane and forces Faker to recall and Bjergsen gets mid turret to 1/2 health, kills like 1.5-2 waves against turret, and gains a 20-CS lead. After that, Bengi ganks Bjergsen while his team is fail-diving 3v2 bot, Bengi gets a kill on Bjergsen, and Faker snowballs after that.

It was 6-2 by the time Faker actually killed Bjergsen in mid with the help of Bengi. Bjergsen held his own just fine. His team was just too heavy.
