Go to original TeamLiquid thread. This PvP is way better than TSM 3-0'ing WE in 1,5 hours.

TL community has split up due to the site splits. I am pretty uninterested in discussing these games with the people on teamliquid.net. I'd rather do that here.

As we all know, a lot of TSM's success can be attributed to its best player, Bjergsen. Bjergsen has proven week after week in the LCS that he can consistently beat out all the other na mids in 1v1 situations. There was some mild skepticism on whether or not he could do it against the eastern mids, but so far in this tourney, Bjergsen has shown that he can dominate almost anybody in the world in lane. If Bjergsen is able to show his usual performance vs WE's mid(who has also shown a dominant performance so far in this tournament), then TSM will be able to capitalize mid game on Bjergsen's lead, and win the game. The last time Bjergsen we saw Bjergsen falter in the mid lane was against POE and Unicorns of Love. Bjergsen in that series, got wrecked by POE, and that was the time we saw TSM at their lowest. However, since then, Bjergsen has bounced back and in this international tourney, has proved that he is still the most dominant mid in this tourney. If xiye manages to at the very least hold even vs Bjergsen, then TSM will have a hard time capitalizing on their mid game powerplay, and will likely have a hard time winning the game. The second biggest factor to TSM's victory is Dyrus. In most of TSM's losses, the most recent being the one vs TL, Dyrus has shown that whenever he gets camped and dies, TSM loses. Even against CLG, when Dyrus got camped a few times early, TSM showed a weak form, barely managing to win games off opponent's mistakes, rather than good play. Whether or not Dyrus has died early has been a critical factor in determining the outcome of TSM's games. If WE manage to capitalize on Dyrus in the early game and get him to be a non-factor, then WE has a good chance of beating TSM. The third key point of the TSM vs WE is Spirit, the jungler of WE. I think a common criticism of TSM's plays so far have been that they have a rather poor early game for an elite team. Often times, TSM will give up first drags uncontested, or just generally be behind early game, relying on strong mid game play to win them the game. This mainly has to do with the fact that Santorin isn't that big playmaker in the early game that we see more often from other junglers, and the fact that Santorin prioritizes heavily on mid and bot lane, leaving top lane on an island. I think it's safe to say that Spirit has been a huge part of WE's success in the tournament so far, and has shown to be a stronger jungler than Santorin. If Spirit can snowball his team with ganks and pressure on key lanes like mid and top, then I think that WE has a shot at winning this series vs TSM. However, if TSM can soften up the blow of an inferior jungler with wards and safer play top lane, then we can expect to see TSM winning this series. The above is just my opinions. Just a casual viewer writing out his thoughts to practice writing.
