At first I was going to agree with you, then I thought about it: Is a Janna/Thresh-style peel-for-kog really the same as Lulu/karma stack-all-the-shields kog?
League comps are somewhat limited to me still, but there's sufficient nuance I think, albeit not a 'wide' range.

It always does end up like that sadly enough.

Bo1 is really killing this tournament imo. Just looking at how the lanes went (100+ cs advantage bot, 70+ cs advantage top) and the fact that such a tailored earlygame strat will only really work once it's pretty much guaranteed that SK would win a bo3 against YFW. It's also very questionable if WE would have went on in a bo3 format. Oh well =/

How is it guaranteed when they went 1-1 with each other? SK just isn't as strong as they or people think. They are arrogant about their own ability and completely ignore their opposition. They did that again GE and now against moe wolves.

Don't blame format, SK got outpicked and outplayed. It's simple.

Yoe didn't have an early game strat lol.Sven started red and got it he didn't even get delayed much since reksai pushed bot and then did drake.Sven was actually a full level ahead in xp.

I guess, we won't even get to "we messed up in p/b phase" excuses this way, considering "bo1 killed tournament, TSM is just that superior to CJ Entus that they would have won bo3 all day long, hurr durr".
That's why Season 2 was cute :p TPA haters were in little numbers.

Ok if TSM looses their best of 3 I wont buy rp anymore.

No, you know, they were ill this week and they didn't had enough practice so that happened. Nothing to do with poor play, poor control of vision and so on...
|
OK I calmed down.
1) Fox did nothing that game. Improve that. 2) Svenskeren is not good at engaging. He played the early game well, he was ahead in exp of Rek'Sai and he denied YFW vision/paths by being a threat. He'll pick off a target, he'll make damage, but he won't make you a good engage. That's what fredy's for. 3) I don't mind risky invades and trading kills for turrets. But SK are taking so many high risk-low reward situation. Evaluate that. 4) If Forg1ven can't play more than 3 adcs then it's silly that he's even in conversation for best ADCs in the west when Sneaky exists. 5) Play different comps. Siege comp would probably work well for you. Juggermaw would definitely be good. You can't play pick comps with your philosophy on vision and you can't play engage comps because Sven and nRated suck at engaging. 6) Losing to SEA is a disgrace. Fuck you SK.

No shit they have cs advantages when Yoe stayed stacked for the majority of the game.. like roaming and putting down wards, killing people 3v1 and stuff.
I swear these types of arguments are very close to the arguments that a macro game in SC2 is the only way to play, its stupid. *You need to sit afk in lane for 30 minutes and they have a 5v5 battle decide who wins the game through sheer individual laning* Also its 1-1 vs SK, so yeah.. it really isnt a bo1 in this case

Why would they force Forgiven to play Corki if he hates him and other adcs were open?
|
Yes, I totally agree with that, SK got stomped this game for sure. They picked bad and they played bad, no doubt about it. I don't particularly care about SK as such. The thing is, YFW won this game in the earlygame, by having a strategy that countered SK:s playstyle at every step. Something like that will generally only work once, and despite this the SK laners were massively ahead in terms of farm. That just tells me that SK members were more skilled, and that a better pick/ban combined with a tailored earlygame strat and bad reactions from SK won YFW this game. Unless they had more strategies prepared against SK it's just very unlikely that they would win in a longer series.
