Let's be honest, if China gets any western viewership then it will be due to Riot-approved casting, not Korean exodus.

Lol WE vs iG is the first match, that rivalry died with caomei and weixaio. It just isn't the same like we don't have PDD/Illusion/XaioXaio and possibly zztai on the iG side either

Man only kid and zztai are remaining in LPL from S2, now I'm sad again. I'm gonna go rewatch IPL5 and cry for a while. Oh FZZF and maybe clearlove are still around but meh not attached to them like I was the other three from WE or S2 iG

China still has atrocious times for Western community, they're even worse currently than last time.

DoA was right about OGN on Riot stream - viewership will be way lower than before because of lack of rebroadcast.
China won't have rebroadcast either most likely unless Riot are going to finally develop some infrastructure and open bunch of other twitch channels for each league.

I actually expect them to not do it, dunno why.

Imp against EP in first week, meh.

Pretty sure conan is going to take styz's will to live before this split is over unless by some miracle roaming leona becomes a dominant bot lane meta again.

OK so I'm not sure what my viewership prediction is because we are in a weird situation. On one hand LPL is closer to Champions in that it's higher level than LCS but informations about players aren't so widely avalaible in english, they don't stream in english etc. On the other, casting will probably be closer in tone and complexity to Riot casting than to Monte, Doa and Chobra. But it would be really weird if you get to stay hipsters (I didn't really watch all that much of LPL so can't call myself one), unless it turns out that LCS viewership stays in the west and OGN viewership splits between LCK and LPL.

DanDy will die for Lomoman sins then, Heart is awful in laning phase and should peel for Vasilii in teamfights instead of basically diving frontlines letting his adc just do the job.

Going full Dora doesn't help either and VG's mid is awful.

I'd say that if viewership is going to be somewhere around 10k weekly, it's pretty awful.

You should be familiar with Save and Rookie, and Kid is now one of the oldest LPL pros. Good mechanics lots of big aggressive plays, sometimes feeds. iG looks really strong, probably strongest iG roster in years. Kitties is meh.

Funnily enough, iG are probably best team with Koreans.
Pokemon was okay in WGT, Kitties was always good, Kid in good day can wreck faces but basically can always farm his stuff since season 2.

And Rookie was able to body Weiless which is an achievement by itself.

Kid and kitties are a pretty good botlane, not the Chinese imp/mata or anything like that but they've been comfortably in the upper half of Chinese bot lanes imo. I personally think pokemon is okay and probably their best choice for top (I don't think save/rookie/kid is a good idea)

But talent has never been iG's problem, their horrific decision making and overall amazingly inconsistent play has been what's held the team back for an incredibly long time.
