So how are Kakao's/Rookie's replacements? iG moved illusion to YG so I think kakao is here to stay, zztai is a weirdo. He plays pretty much any champion he feels like to mixed results. Personally I don't think zztai is that great anymore but his creativity is fun to watch sometimes. I personally thought reborn was their biggest problem so at least beast is a good pickup in that regard AngelBeats on gamtee is another hipster choice, saw a few of his games and he way pretty good and I heard lots of hype coming out of China for him

Pokemon is Chinese, Save is going to play for YG in LSPL or sit on bench with YoungSoo. *well-deserved* Illusion though is probably best Chinese jungler but EDG wants to stick with Clearlove sadly. iG are just still iG, you can change all players and they will still make retard moves like in WGT against Gamtee, lol. If i was ranking LPL teams right now, i would have probably went with something like: EDG OMG LGD Starhorn if NaMei joins iG King WE M3 because me and Fusilero really think that Looper and dade are just going to run with money. VG because of same thing Gamtee EP But we'll see. I have high hopes for Gamtee this season, those guys can make a splash.

So what should I know going into this year, apart from all the Koreans coming over and OMG (I think OMG) having an absolutely ridiculous team for this season. OMG are only team which is considered top-dog right now, because of full Chinese roster and having arguably at least 4 best Chinese players for each position - basically Chinese dream-team. At least in Spring, it's easy to expect them to dominate, in Summer things might change. EDG lost NaMei for Deft which is no big deal because both are playing same style and around same skill level, U is buried somewhere so PawN is going to play for them. Koro stepped up big in off-season, probably biggest contender for OMG spot in Spring. iG/LGD are currently best teams with Koreans, LGD won WGT (even if they played Acorn there, i guess, Flame is going to play 90% of time). iG are still iG and fun to watch because of their ridiculous decisionmaking even with Koreans and LGD have arguably best Chinese midlaner currently in We1less and probably even best support in Pyl. Add Flame/Acorn and imp into this mix and your only problem is jungle, meh, Quan ;/ Watch out for King, yes, they got their heads caved in by EDG in G-League finals but it doesn't make Skye worse. If you're fan of toplane 1v9, King and Snake with Flandre are teams to watch for you. Gamtee were pretty solid in off-season, Energy Pacemaker were hyped as next generation sick team, we'll see how it goes. World Elite got Spirit and Styz got unbanned with latter being one of the best adcs China ever had arguably and good heir for WeiXiao legacy in WE, their sololanes still suck though and support is definition of "i wanna play Leona every game". Master3, former WE.Academy probably definition of team where championship caliber Koreans will just run from money, if they play smlz as adc though, i recommend to watch him, guy is sick good but getting plagued by his character almost as much as Styz. Starhorn Royal Club lost their face after losing Uzi but most likely are getting NaMei. Same problems are still there + NaMei isn't really my first candidate to be proper replacement for Uzi so they're going to be good enough to not be relegated because of Zero/NaMei but not going to be contenders for championship yet as well. Vici Gaming might be another team where Koreans are going to run with money, Mata and Dandy are stuck with not the best sololanes to say the least, having Lomoman Vasilii as adc isnt helping either. I'd imagine, if they got someone like Styz, they could be okay but Lomoman is one of my biggest concerns in whole league. Even though they have Homme as coach and Heart/Skatch on bench, so i'd imagine that VG are going to be okay. I'm not buying this Mata/DanDy hype yet though. On January 07 2015 07:12 Carnivorous Sheep wrote: There were rumors that Mata would coach VG instead of play, since Mata himself had expressed a desire to coach and it'd strange for VG to pick up for two (presumably) expensive supports. Heart is expected to be the starter. That's why Mata was grinding games with DanDy tonight on streams and was something like 117-28 in Masters. If Heart starts, i'm even more pessimistic about VG.

Dade does not care, he played leblanc which he has never done, did crazy aggressive shit which he never does and got himself rekt by xiyang which he shouldn't ever do. I'm pretty sure dade is going to take the money and run after this season. LGD and EDG's Koreans seem to have merged themselves into their new teams somewhat comfortably, admittedly I've only seen one BO5 of EDG with Koreans but there doesn't seem to be any disconnect between pawn/clearlove or deft/mouse Spirit seems to be playing well, the rest of world elite less so. There was nothing in the series he played against EDG that suggested any kind of miscommunication but the team just looked overall limp especially aluka and ninja the latter of whom when spirit wasn't helping him loads was just sad, ninja needed spirit to prevent U from going to town on him. VG and snakeQ are yet to show off their fancy new Koreans so idk Can't remember iG, will muse on them when I've rewatched some of their games with their fancy new Koreans. From what I can vaguely recall rookie/kakao were doing okay.

It just isn't the same like we don't have PDD/Illusion/XaioXaio and possibly zztai on the iG side either Man only kid and zztai are remaining in LPL from S2, now I'm sad again. I'm gonna go rewatch IPL5 and cry for a while. Oh FZZF and maybe clearlove are still around but meh not attached to them like I was the other three from WE or S2 iG WE went from legitimate Chinese champions to a halfway house for Koreans ![]() On January 07 2015 05:34 Fusilero wrote: I just realised that riot approved coverage may mean we finally get some goddamn summoner icons for China Good luck with that, I've wanted a WE icon since they were actually good. Chinese laws or whatever's keeping them from Western servers suck.

Overall, it's a bad time for western viewers, but a good time for the oceanic region.
