Ye I remember like mid-summer going on how NiP/Atn were locks for worlds yet in the end they fought to avoid relegation (Granted both came heavily down to unexpected factors)

To be fair that was a split with dragonborn, giants, aAa and copenhagen wolves starting 0-9 AND aAa forfeiting their playoff match vs SK due to dioud's personal problems. Considering how hard gambit and EG ran over them I don't think many were expecting them to make top 4 again. Hell they could have made the playoffs if kev1n didn't chase mimer's shen under the inhib turret at mid.

Gambit and fanatic are always favorite for top 3. Roccad is not a one trick pony like mym and they show they can addapt to enemy playstile. So its not a bad bet considering you get 10 times the amount of what you have bet.

Okay, Fnatic was in two steps. And considering that Summer Split will have NiP instead of SHC and probably even C9EU without k0u instead of SK or Wolves, i won't try to predict anything in Summer even in Week 9.

I mean, if nukeduck stops losing mid to everyone and needing amin to bail him and mithy/freeze actually play as well as they can NiP could be contenders again but nukeduck is really determined to go the ambition route of being broken by faker. That's my main concern of NiP, without amin to bail him I really see nukeduck struggling. SK Prime should also be considered imo but ginsu really drags them down.

What I learned from previous splits: Spring Split 2013: Fnatic 1st Place Summer Split 2013: Fnatic 1st Place Worlds: Fnatic 1st in groups, Ro4 finish so yeah, not much changed in an entire year.
