The news about LCS starting earlier is about next week, not this one.
Americans don't like to use unblockables, it is considered not honest. You press a button at the wrong time and hit the other person, you are random, not a top player. You DP Sim's far fierce, it is random and not honest.

Who would bet 10 euros now that fanatic, gambit and roccat go to worlds if you would get 100 euros back if true?

Way to early for that. Worlds is more then half a year away, anything can change.

It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

I wouldn't. I don't see who could outperform Roccat right now, but we still have an entire split for roster changes and levelups. Maybe we'll get a new superteam, or SHC will improve their shotcalling and start wrecking everybody, or SK gets a new jungler, or NiP gets back into LCS and plays like Lemondogs did, or maybe some Asian team moves to Europe like LMQ did to NA. Or xPeke goes on vacation and Rekkles breaks his hand, who knows.

Ye I remember like mid-summer going on how NiP/Atn were locks for worlds yet in the end they fought to avoid relegation (Granted both came heavily down to unexpected factors)

I don't think we have seen enough Roccat to know how consistent they are. But I would do it if the bet was that 2 out of 3 make it to worlds. I see Fnatic/Gambit fluking as less likely, but it could still happen. And you never know with EU LCS, some teams go bust, others improve. I'd really like it if SHC/Alliance perform better, because they look like they could be incredibly fun to watch if they catch their stride.

To guys who want to predict Worlds right now.
Remember where was SK in Spring and where did they end in Summer?

To be fair that was a split with dragonborn, giants, aAa and copenhagen wolves starting 0-9 AND aAa forfeiting their playoff match vs SK due to dioud's personal problems. Considering how hard gambit and EG ran over them I don't think many were expecting them to make top 4 again.
Hell they could have made the playoffs if kev1n didn't chase mimer's shen under the inhib turret at mid.

It's just an example about what can happen.
Dunno, i'm only sure in SKT T1 on Worlds.

The only sure is najin shield, rito pls nerf BW synergy.
Also that SGS will dominate the SEA qualifier until the grand finals where they will lose 0-2

Gambit and fanatic are always favorite for top 3.
Roccad is not a one trick pony like mym and they show they can addapt to enemy playstile.
So its not a bad bet considering you get 10 times the amount of what you have bet.

1-2, because they will win winners bracket.

Gambit and Fnatic are good, but they were basically one step from falling into hell last time. Okay, Fnatic was in two steps.
And considering that Summer Split will have NiP instead of SHC and probably even C9EU without k0u instead of SK or Wolves, i won't try to predict anything in Summer even in Week 9.

I think Gambit and Fnatic are probably shoe-ins for Worlds, from EU. 3rd slot is probably a toss up between Roccat and CW.

Not sold on NiP, they're getting carried fairly hard by amin and zorozero atm. Amin won't be able to play next split if NiP qualify so the new jungler would have some big shoes to fill.

You would think people learn from former splits, but nope lol.

well, fnatic and gambit have shown to be top tier team for long period of times.

3rd slot maybe might be taken by NiP from challenger scene, if they can manage to not fuck up getting into LCS.

Right, i forgot that he's 16. Oh well.

I mean, if nukeduck stops losing mid to everyone and needing amin to bail him and mithy/freeze actually play as well as they can NiP could be contenders again but nukeduck is really determined to go the ambition route of being broken by faker.
That's my main concern of NiP, without amin to bail him I really see nukeduck struggling. SK Prime should also be considered imo but ginsu really drags them down.

Um. What I learned from previous splits:

Spring Split 2013: Fnatic 1st Place
Summer Split 2013: Fnatic 1st Place
Worlds: Fnatic 1st in groups, Ro4 finish

so yeah, not much changed in an entire year.
