You underestimate Diana a lot.

Shiphtur going balls to the walls, I think Kat does better against LB than she does against Zed tho; but still losing matchup. He'll have to rush Abyssal imo.

You run OOM very quickly if you max shield and you have like 10 second downtime, you also do have mana issues even with flask and you cannot react with the shield because it doesn't apply the double until all your orbs explode which takes too long.

Something I wonder though and maybe someone better than me can explain:
Why is the preference on the mage in mid and the tank top? Why haven't we seen a high control tank mid? Shouldn't a tank mid offer better dragon control?

Because you prefer to have someone with huge damage output in middle.
It's basics since you start playing MOBAs, that middle is main lane in game because you're right between other 2 lanes to help.
Tank can provide some dragon control, but he can't prevent other lanes from being bullied because he can't do stuff while roam.

Generally, top lane is less safe so you want a tanky champion that takes longer to kill because it's easier to gank
Apart from that, the midlaners generally have higher impact early on so they want more map control

Mage champions are more potent roamers, since they do more damage and generally have more mobility, and can spike people down if people get caught out of position. They're also squishier, so if they were put in top, they'd be more susceptible to ganks.
