Easily as good as NJBS/SSB/KTB, they made the NLB finals and took a map off sword as a newly formed team. Now that kuro can play his best champion (syndra) again it looks better. The main problem they have is that they have a tendency to lose their lanes loads but if they make it out fine they can crush the fights. I remember them nearly clean acing KTA when down 10k.

That teamfight where piglet lived by a sliver before instantly popping up to almost full again with lifesteal and heals was so critical. One wrong move, piglet takes an auto or something more, and SKT lose that fight horrifically against a tanky mundo that they can hardly scratch without vayne.

I updated my previous post, but basically I think it's not so much the champion kits or necessarily the tank items, but the fact that all the popular tanks have insane self-sustain and there's no reliable source of halved healing outside of ignite, which pros are starting to pick up less in favor of teleport.
morellnomicon gives reduced healing, but it requires the enemy to be below 40% hp, which isn't exactly ideal when you're dealing with tanks. Executioner's is a joke of an item and will probably continue to be without a big rework. So that only leaves you with ignite, but you see players almost always throwing that on enemy carries to maximize damage. As such, you end up with Mundo ult, Rengar W spam, and Olaf's insane lifesteal providing absurd amounts of healing increasing their ehp by a silly amount. imo, easiest fix would be to give morellonomicon an active that makes all abilities cast within X seconds apply reduced healing. Executioner's also needs a full-on rework/buff to make it actually buyable.

Dunno why people are bitching about the S4 changes. For once we're actually seeing games where the outcome remains unclear even into the late game. I can barely remember any close games in S3 that weren't only due to a blatant throw.

the outcome being unclear until the late game is fine, but when team fights in the late game last forever and end up with no real result, it's pretty underwhelming.

I suppose so, but that's probably easy enough to patch out. Still, I would rather watch late game tanks smack each other endlessly in a close game than watch another 40 minute S3 snowball that was effectively decided after a misplay 5 minutes in.
