I hope these teams like the small money, because there's no fucking way they will win worlds.
I distinctly remember seeing a lot of Zac/Ori in OGN. They work fine if you actually initiate instead of just doing nothing all game.

The wombo combo wins the fight if they didn't get re-wombo'd by Regi and his shadows. That damage was enormous.

TSM won a game in the playoffs... Well time to jump on the hype train and say they will go #1 :D

It was almost certainly Reginald's call to jump on Nien and Bigfat with crescendo at the end there.
I was sure TSM was just going to back off but nope. Worked out.
Just imagine though if Link had a bit more AP though.

CLG again just trying to draw out the games, regardless of compositions, advantages, disadvantages... That just doesn´t cut it anymore. Also the general quality of this game was really low compared to what Frost and ozone showed on wednesday. NA should hope that none of those teams gets to worlds.

Couldn't say anything because I was in class but LOL at Link's missed Shockwave when he was trying to run away from Dyrus.

I suppose it's a very top heavy playstyle. You probably need to be at the highest level to beat other teams of similar skill level with it it and you have extremely crisp coordination/mechanics/strategy etc.... just an assumption of course.

Yeah he actually went with the team instead of charging by himself at doublelift 2 screens away from his team. The mistimed QSS played a massive part though.

It had nothing to do with the initiator comp, it had everything to do with how they used it. In the very last teamfight, Twitch had used his entire Spray and Pray before he got touched by anyone. He had 1 second left on the buff when he was ulted by Malphite, which meant the attack speed slow wasn't used at all. Nien held his ult too long in every fight, and if he was going to do that, he NEEDED to get on Wildturtle and slow him up earlier in the fight. By the time he saw the "perfect" engage, it was too late.

I doubt it.

It's more that CLG hesitated/couldn't engage off of Nien's tp and Baron buff basically healed TSM a significant amount while CLG's frontline was already shredded by the time the fight started.

it still works yeah but also Zac deals a shit ton of dmg while being as tanky as fuck. Malphite is like " I'm gooooing in" boom+E to atk speed slow. "Shit what do I do now"

Yeah, that Dragon dive was pretty awful.

Looking at the replay, Regi got a double/triple Shadow Slash (and Shuriken?) on 4 members of CLG. That was what changed everything. Have to give him kudos for turning the tide of that fight. Wildturtle was out of range during the initial damage spike that brought CLG down to sub 5-10%.
Fking Zed.

I know. Also, when Regi did that he was 1 crit or 2 auto's away from dying so it was a mix of both of Regi doing his job and CLG panicking and not finishing him off.

SKT did some J4/Ori/Zac. Obviously Zac is really strong so it's a bit different but it's still the style we are talking about. I don't think it worked solely because of zac being so strong though. The main difference I think it they don't have the utility ADC and instead of someone like Vayne which makes a lot more sense in my mind. You already have Noct/Malph to engage so you need some form of damage to back it up instead of just even more engagement that you are too scared to use.
