In fighting games double elimination format in my opinion works really well because the matches take a really short amount of time so you can have a ton of action. I don't think that it's a good idea for games like LoL and DotA because it takes such a long time, especially because all the tournaments do the format incorrectly so we have some horrible abominations like the TI3 bracket.

I also wonder when Dyrus becomes frustrated enough to leave TSM. He and Xpecial are the only reason the team is even top 4. "But it's the #2 team" is a bad excuse because Dyrus is pretty much the reason they are #2 and he could carry almost any other team to #2 as well so it's a nonfactor.
