You have to take risks to get back into the game at this point, just because it failed doesn't make it a bad call.
Ozone still has 2/3 outer towers standing, they could easily have taken both with little risk instead of going for the Baron

They probably wanted parity between the quarterfinals
Zac may be a little over the top, but it's not terrible broken in 3.09. They just let him freely farm all game so he could get MPen instead of tanking up directly. I'd bet he also runs MPen runes - so there's really no reason to wonder why he deals so much damage
Zac is a champ that was pretty much created for homme, solid split push, safe lane and incredibly tanky it's just about everything a player like homme would ever want.
I think the only player who can match homme's decision making is shy at this point. I think overall shy edges out homme in terms of top lane talent cause he has such a wide champion pool, but as long as shen and zac are super strong homme is gonna be about as good as top laners come.
Even is skt1 won this summer(550), they still cant qualify when sword win nlb(600) and ozone win 3th place (570). So i hope frost win this sumer and skt1 qualify for regionals.
