For all of the allstars really :/ i REALLY wish we coulda seen jiji or regi play instead of scarra x: Jiji no longer in LCS, no chance of that. Regi sure (better shotcalling at least, and his YOLO plays may mix things up). Honestly though, maybe Manclou would've been a better NA mid laner and the one with the most potential, but Vulcun wasn't doing well enough early, and no streaming=no chance in a popularity vote (plus his days in FEAR were overshadowed by extremely flashy Aphromoo plays). Mancloud is a beast. I would have been hesitant sending him here because he doesn't have much (any?) experience against foreign Mid laners. Although I guess that didn't do Scarra much good.

Ugh, the korean spectator is so much better than the NA spectator. Half the time the NA spectator misses half the play where the korean spectator sees the play coming up and catches EVERYTHING. Like, even when dlift was 1v1ing ambition while there was a fight going on at NA's top inhib, he managed to catch ambition's flash-w and go back immediately to the fight.

I hope NA realizes how far behind they are compared to the Asian regions. The lack of international competition can definitely breed complacency, so let this be a reality check.
People are actually congratulating NA for not losing every game? They only won against a substandard EU team, one that's not even close to what Gambit or Fnatic are at their best.
Mechanics, need to work so much more on mechanics...

Also, thus far all my predictions from when the All-stars were decided have come true. Wheee. EDIT: The other mid laner would be Nyjacky, and while he may be a qt, not really up to snuff. Again, NA mids are just alot weaker comparative to other regions. Mancloud and Nintendude were who I voted for in allstars. Still, I don't think NA would necessarily have done any better vs Korea n China.

I think when you get praise for not losing every game is the best time to realize you're fucked.

I approve of this showing of Snoopeh, if you need to put someone from the pros on a big stage to talk, it's him.

Very proud of the NA team. Went out with two surrenders but we definitely showed our potential. The korean team's movement was off the charts... so many plays in the early game and im inspired to work on my thresh hooks.

Mechanics, need to work so much more on mechanics... imo, NA players (and perhaps EU as well) need to care less about things like streaming and being community personalities; needa buckle down and start practicing hardcore, much like the way eastern teams do

The thing is, if NA had a 6th person behind them calling shots, I legitimately think they could've taken both games off of china because of how insanely well Dlift was playing.
Individually though, apart from bot lane, they NEED to work on decisionmaking, mechanics, and laning.

Why is it cynical? To me it seems like thats exactly how it is, and in my opinion, it wont change. The NA teams make alot of money this way, so there isnt much reason to do anything different.

You can't tell me not to be happy about them for beating EU lol.

There were definitely moments of disappointment for NA in this tournament, but I extremely proud of the flashes of brilliance we showed vs all our opponents.

Easy to say, when Streaming is another way of making money. And seeing the numbers at times i gotta wonder how much more easy it is then to practice like mad for tournaments.

NA sucks, I've accepted that, let me enjoy some form of victory however small it is.
