Good tactic there. Too bad they were too far behind for it to even matter.

At least it wasn't as bad as game 1. Though that really says more about just how bad game 1 went.

Eh, Dyrus just doesn't feel like an assassin type top laner. Would have preferred to see him malphite.

Anyway, Korea played really well. Insec and Madlife are the highlights. Which is great, because junglers and supports need love too.

Good run NA, Good run. Hopefully because of this, the strong NA players are much more stronger.

Naw Saint carried pretty hard yesterday against EU. Scarra though.. I don't think he has done a single thing this whole event.

Absolutely. Madlife's Thresh plays were ridiculous, and were highly influential in many of the teamfights.

So now that America is eliminated I've gotta say that they played the whole tournament well. I think they exceeded most people's expectations...granted everyone's expectations were really low but still.

Dyrus played solid. Made some mistakes but otherwise he did well, can't really discredit him for much. He certainly is behind Shy and PDD though.

Xpecial and Doublelift both looked like the best players on that team though. All three days those two were consistently doing well (with the notable exception of game 1 against Korea where Double played like a scrub).

Wasn't very impressed with saint, but I don't know if anyone else from NA could've been better. I know that scarra got out laned every game but he did significantly better than I thought he would, though to be fair I thought he'd just feed every game and get carried. I still think that NA's AP mids are their weakest roles as I don't think any AP mids from NA would've won lane against Ambition, Alex Ich, Toyz, or Misaya.

Excited for China vs Korea but I might have to watch that one in the morning. Too tired to stay up much later.

I think any team would at least have to respect Regi/Saint. The amount of balls in that combo is scary.

Jiji no longer in LCS, no chance of that.

Regi sure (better shotcalling at least, and his YOLO plays may mix things up). Honestly though, maybe Mancloud would've been a better NA mid laner and the one with the most potential, but Vulcun wasn't doing well enough early, and no streaming=no chance in a popularity vote (plus his days in FEAR were overshadowed by extremely flashy Aphromoo plays).

Also, thus far all my predictions from when the All-stars were decided have come true. Wheee.

EDIT: The other mid laner would be Nyjacky, and while he may be a qt, not really up to snuff. Again, NA mids are just alot weaker comparative to other regions.
