Honestly ggu has really bad picks. They don't have teleport vs shen AND they don't have hard engage.Unless crs throws ggu simply can't win this.

Uhh... what? Curse lineup has a great team fight. Nocturne ult itself in the bush is a monstrous advantage in a team fight. This is on top of Sona + Varus + Eve combo.

Vlad + Karthus + Nasus Alt = AoE paradise. 2 people will have to dive into the middle of a defile + hemoplague.

It will come down to Crescendo + Varus Ult + Shen taunt landing so they'll stand still long enough for the assassins to kill them. Based on how many Crescendos and Chains I've seen land, I'm not exactly inspired.

On the other hand, as far ahead as Curse is getting now, it might not even matter.

Crs also have a huge level advantage by now. Jacky, Saint 3 levels above their counterparts, for example.

Also, they have no champ that has any shot at dueling Shen (and wouldn't have one even if they were ahead. Bad picking there)

Good luck having that AoE combo off when you have zero engage potential outside of running facefirst into Crescendo/Chain. On paper it looks great, in practice, Curse's comp is flat out stronger.

GGU needed Rumble or Malphite, not Vlad.

Well GGU lineup has a lot more AoE damage.

They do have like no hard CC at all, though.

They have no disengage against Nocturne+Shen and have no TP to respond in kind

Was J4 banned because imo I think J4 would have synergised with the comp much better than nasus or rumble top since it's nice to have this ultra aoe but how did GGU plan on starting fights with it.

Curse haven't really had a bad engagement yet.

Actually I would say that Kennen would have been ideal instead of Vlad here .-.

Vlad should have take Teleport as summoner. GGU is gonna die from this 4-1 split push.

I don't get this vlad pick and play. They have absolutely nothing to stop shen pushing so they just concede 4v5 fights perma since vlad can't even stop shen tp and doesn't have tp himself.

AoE damage is not very useful against the likes of Shen, Nocturne and Eve, who have ~7k or more effective HP each against magic damage and kill the carries in seconds

Pretty funny how frequently Sona is picked even by players who are known to fail ult all the time. Shows how powerful she is even without an ultimate (if you manage to avoid feeding early), with all the free stats she provides for the team without having to actually do anything

They'll have to engage at a Baron or something. I agree, a malphite would have been a much better choice here.

Can we at least agree with how each of these teams are playing and picking, both of them would get wrecked by TSM?

WHY were ZionSpartan and NintendudeX initiating when Jintae was near, they need to fight inside Jintae's AoE or they have no chance -.-

Yes. In game 1 GGU actually looked like they could give TSM a game, but not taking a teleport and basically setting themselves up to fight 4v5 all game is just too dumb.
